PGC Coaching and Better Basketball are accepting applications for a Marketing Manager position, who will drive awareness, engagement, and conversion through a range of marketing tactics and stage-appropriate offers and programs.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maximize PGC Coaching’s engagement strategies, including communications and social media strategies, advertising opportunities, blog content creation, and monthly launches
- Manage and support the creation of all promotional content, including weekly emails, print collateral, and promotional videos
- Manage contract details and coordinate all logistics for PGC camps & clinics.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Understand current and potential customers’ needs
- Own project ideation, planning and execution, briefing other departments on new projects, and ensuring cross-functional team leadership
- Test and optimize messaging and offers to drive the greatest conversion rates
- Implement online marketing best practices, including A/B testing, editing email content, and creating social media posts

Core Competencies
- 5+ years of work experience in marketing, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration
- Proven ability to drive growth
- Effective leadership skills
- Experience in coaching, managing and training others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- A star at identifying compelling content including subject lines that get emails opened, copy that converts, and graphics that engage
- Organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to plan and think strategically while being in the weeds as much as necessary.
- Able to work regular hours during the week with additional weekend availability in our peak seasons and during product launches
- Able to work independently from a home office with access to a workspace that allows for focused work with minimal distractions
- Have access to a personal computer with secure, high-speed internet capabilities
