Rob Cross first attended a PGC basketball session as a high school athlete in 2008. He played High school basketball at Horace Greeley in New York. As a captain, Rob helped lead Greeley to a league title his senior year. Rob then went on to be a student manager for the Men’s basketball team at Vanderbilt, where he also assumed the role of video coordinator. While at Vanderbilt, he was directly involved in the player development of John Jenkins who currently plays for the Phoenix Suns and Rod Odom who is now in his third season overseas.
In 2014, with the roster plagued with injuries and transfers, Rob was asked to walk on and dressed for the second half of the season. Rob earned two minutes of playing time, and recorded two offensive rebounds, making him the self-proclaimed best rebounder in the SEC (per 40).
Rob has been an instructor with PGC since 2012 and spent the last two years as the head basketball coach at Hillcrest High School in Memphis, TN.

What They’re Saying About Rob Cross
“I attended the parent session last night and was EXTREMELY impressed with the camp, and specifically with the camp director, Rob. I was blown away by his energy, how he held the attention of ALL the campers, and by the content of what he was teaching. He skillfully weaved together basketball skills, life skills, and leadership skills, while providing personal examples to illustrate his points. My son was engaged the entire time and loving camp. I had high expectations of this camp based upon reviews, but the camp and Rob, surpassed my expectation. Thank you.
