Taylor Vigil is currently a skill development coach for youth, high school, and college athletes in the Bay Area (CA). Taylor had her first experience with PGC in 2011 when she attended the Scoring College (formerly, Essentials) directed by Tyler Coston. Two weeks after attending the course, she became apart of PGC’s summer staff as a Basket Instructor and since 2013 has been one of PGC’s Coach Trainers.
Taylor’s playing career includes four years at Carondelet High School (CA), where she was earned the NCS/CIF Sportsmanship Award, Most Inspirational Award, the Coaches Award, the Most Improved Player Award, and in 2007 she lead her golf team to the become the Northern California Champions.
Taylor attended Sonoma State University (2008-2013) earning a walk-on basketball scholarship and starting position for the Seawolves. By her senior year she led the Sonoma State Seawolves in points and steals, and led second in assists, rebounds and blocked shots. She was also ranked third in the CCAA with a .492 field goal percentage. She holds the school-record at Sonoma State for having a perfect game, 12-of-12 shooting from the field.
Taylor received her Bachelors Degree in May 2013 from Sonoma State University in Human Development. Upon graduating from Sonoma State, she was invited to the European Slam Tour to play on the International USA Team in Slovenia, Italy, and Austria. When she returned, she became the Assistant Coach for Sonoma State from 2013-2017.
In the fall of 2017 Taylor received a scholarship to play semi-professionally in Durham, England where she helped lead her team to becoming the National Champions. While playing professionally she also went back to school where she received her Masters Degree in Education from the University of Durham, England.
