Megan Murphy | Clinton Corners, New York

“I wanted to drop you a note and tell you how impressed I was with every aspect of the program. From your leadership to your instructors, I believe you have made a positive impact both on my son as well as me. I will admit to coming to PGC as a coach and thinking I wouldn’t learn much. I have been to a lot of “camps” in my time and thought this would primarily be good for my son. There are not many times that I think I got more than I paid for, but as far as I am concerned you couldn’t charge enough for the experience we both had. I believe it will change my son’s life as well as my own. I am going to use SCHAPE with all of my teams and we have instituted its principals in my own home!”

Sean O’Neil, Hudson | Hudson, New Hampshire

Any player who wants to have a serious chance to play college basketball—especially at the 'D1' level—needs to attend PGC. Going to PGC is the smartest move you can ever make.

Greg Tudor | West Lafayette, Indiana

“My son has been a different kid since this basketball camp. Now he thinks talks and acts like a leader. He’s playing with passion, fire, and energy. Honestly, I can’t believe it is my son. Scoring College taught him how to play the right way.”

Basketball was awesome, dorms not so much
Dorms weren’t great but the basketball was awesome
I played against Kyle when I was starting at Pine Forest High School after he went to PGC for the summer before our senior season in 2011-2012. We played them at their house in Niceville, FL the 1st time and he literally scorched me and my team that night and looked flawless all night. Made all the right moves, hitting all his shots and attacking all game on offense and defense. He made me look like a fool to say the least and the year before that, I really didn’t see him playing like this. He was good but not this great. We had to make a game plan to stop him the next 2 games we played and finished 2-1 against his team but he was killing us when he got the chance. He stayed on my mind for sure but he got hurt and his team went out the playoffs early. I did my research and figured out he went to PGC to elevate his game and I’ve been following PGC ever since. It has taken my game to another level. I’ve seen and experienced the results and they are real and he is a legit baller anyone would be blessed to learn from.
Best $300 vacation ever
First, it was a boost personally. Coaches, like everyone else, get worn down over time. It was great to be around the PGC staff, other coaches, and a really motivated group of players. The how-you-learn stuff was great. There were numerous "one-percenters" to take away. They challenged my way of thinking on a few things. It was well worth the time, without a doubt the best $300 vacation ever. I have already recommended this to other coaches and parents of players. I was very impressed with three things relative to any camp I have seen before: 1. Zero wasted time. 2. Everything you all did was intentional, and most drills, etc. had multiple things you were trying to accomplish. 3. The focus on players coaching other players was excellent.
This was the best basketball experience I have ever had.
This was the best basketball experience I have ever had. I have been to so many basketball camps growing up, I played college basketball, and I have never seen anything like this. I was so thankful for the things that they taught, and know that the players that came from the school I coach at not only had fun, but learned an incredible amount about the game of basketball and life. I will be recommending this to everyone of my players so that they have the Chance to experience this as well. It will greatly help their lives, and greatly help our program! Very thankful for this opportunity. Thank you so much
He Went Injured and Still Learned a Lot
My son was injured before camp started as he fractured a finger in a basketball game a few weeks prior. He was not sure if he would get much out of the camp with him being injured, but that could not have been farther from the truth. This was his third PGC camp and I think that he may have gotten more out of this one than the other two when he wasn't injured. He loved the coaches and the environment and is looking forward to his next PGC camp. Thank you!
Only Positive Comments
Shamus wasn't sure what to think before starting this camp, but he came back with all kinds of positive comments about it. He really enjoyed all of the coaches and employees of the camp and how positive and friendly they were. And he really enjoyed learning life lessons as well as gaining basketball knowledge. And I really appreciate the fact that we got scholarship money so it made it possible for Shamus to attend this camp.
there Are So Many Benefits I Learned From This Course
there are so many benefits I learned from this course that I am taking with me. the few I can share is building/having chemistry with the athletes. Be able to communicate with each child and bring the best from each one of them. these coaches were not just standing they were showing/sharing their passion which each child. Not one moment did I see a coach get tired or even show lack of interest or lack of energy. WOW!!!!
Truly transformed in 5 days!
I feel like I am a 10 times better coach and leader than when I entered on Monday. Being around like minded people has added to the fire that I have to build a winning culture and program. I am ready to go home and SERVE the people in my program, my classroom, and my school in a way that is intentional and transformational. Money well spent!! Truly transformed in 5 days! Gotten better!!
It Helped Renew My Energy To Keep Coaching
PGC resonates with my natural coaching philosophy and thus legitimizes my instincts, while giving me the vocabulary and confidence to follow them more fully. (Gamefying, positivity, larger purpose of building cultural leaders rather than merely skilled players) It also helped renew my energy to keep coaching, even in potentially more challenging situations.
My Life Will be Changed Forever
Overall my experience at this camp was fantastic. I am very excited about imputing all the new things I learned into my life and into basketball. And I cant stress enough the impact that the non basketball classroom sessions had on my life. From talking about nutrition to finance to leadership, my life will be forever changed.
This experience has changed my approach
This experience has changed my approach as a coach. As someone who is forever a student of the game, I couldn't stop smiling this week. The atmosphere behind 'SCHAPE' Principles is such a genius simplicity that will change the way in which I strive to impact my girls and prepare them for the next level/stages of their lives.
Elitel Instructor and Coaches
Coach Clint was so hospitable to us as observing coaches. I appreciate his checking in regularly with us for questions we’ve had. He did such a great job connecting with players and coaches. He is an elite instructor but very personable with people. He is a PRO in all meanings of the word.
Better than AAU...
In one week of camp, my son was able to get more repetition and skill work than he did in an entire summer of AAU. I believe that the AAU experience provides him with lots of high level experience and competition, but PGC enables him to refine his craft and clean up bad habits or footwork.
From Alaska to Washington...
After traveling alone from village in Alaska to Washington and back a different child came back. A confident ready to put the work in man. I believe PGC is beneficial for my sons future, as it is the stepping stone to what college life will be while expanding his basketball knowledge.
So Welcoming!
It was very good, learned a lot of new things to take back with me. Although it is a basketball camp, they teach you things that apply to all aspects of life. The PGC environment is so welcoming and makes you play harder and better. Also you meet new people that help you become better
Implemented A Ton Of Lessons
I've implemented a ton of lessons I learned through PGC over the last 3 seasons, coaching about 7 teams, especially the idea of positive reinforcement over harping on negatives or just yelling at players. I've change my teams' culture, based, primarily on lessons learned through PGC.
I Wanted to Quit Basketball But Not Anymore...
I went into PGC expecting to stop playing basketball after my freshman year (I’m going into 9th this year but I came out enjoying the game so much more and with a much clearer understanding. I can’t wait to apply everything I learned to games and practice at home.
Best Basketball Camp I've Ever Attended
PGC was one of the best basketball camps I have attended. It pushed me mentally, physically, and emotionally and showed me things about myself that I didn’t even know. It has helped take my SCHAPE to a whole new level and I am so thankful for this process.
Inceased My Basketball IQ
It was so amazing being treated like a college athlete and having to except responsibility. Helped me with seeing the floor way better and way faster. This camp also showed me that getting out of your comfort zone is what made me feel more comfortable.
I'm going to make my teammates better.
Coaches and staff were always there and in a way you could always rely as well as learning so much! I feel as if when I go back to my high school Im am going to be able to bring my teammates and I to the next level and be the coach on the floor
Attentive and Helpful!
Great camp and all of the camp coaches were excellent being attentive and helpful when I had questions or needed help. Took away several new ideas and teachings that I am eager to incorporate with my team this next season! Thank you!!
Varsity Team as a Freshman
My daughter was fortunate & talented enough to get to start on her high school varsity team as a freshman and she will tell you the vast majority of the things that coaches like about her she learned from PGC!!! Thank you so much!!!
Incredibly Helpful for Me as a Player and Person
PGC Grad school has been incredibly helpful for me as a player and person because of what we learned about in the classroom and from the experiences and discussion I had with the coaches who shared their wisdom and success with me
Fun and Educational!!
My son did not want to come home afterwards. It really gave him a fun breakdown of the game and explanation of his trouble areas, but more importantly taught him lessons of attitude and self accountability on and off the court.
Exactly What I Needed To Advance My Program
This week has been exactly what I needed to get the tools to help advance my program. From the concepts taught in the camp, to the collaboration with the other observing coaches, this week was a life and game changer for me.
Learned Teaching Techniques
I was able to see how efficiently a coach(es) can manage the energy and attention of a group of players. I also learned teaching techniques, network with other coaches across the country, see great drills and practices.
Exceeded Every Expectation!
You guys lived up to all of the advertisements I read and exceeded our expectations Bromo not only enjoyed it but is better for it Leadership and life skills that were also taught is why he’ll be back Respect
Positive Effect on Attitude and Relationships
Ever since our daughter has gotten home, I just keep hearing, "I just LOVED that camp!" I have seen a positive effect on attitude in general and relationship with siblings, response to parental authority... Thankful!
Learned so Much About the Mental Aspect of the Game
The best PGC course i’ve been to, I learned so much about mental aspect of basketball. This just made me realize that you have to practice the mental part of the game just like you do the shooting and ball handing.
This was my sixth PGC course.
This is my sixth PGC course. I still continue to bring STUFF back home to my own teaching. I love the enthusiasm Pgc staff brings and it continually motivates me to be a better person as well as a coach. Love it!!!
PGC is completely inspiring.
PGC really changed my life and my thoughts not just on basketball but how to handle life. I've learned more in this week about basketball then my whole life. I loved every minute of this place. Completely inspiring.

Very Inisghtful for All of Us
The session was very insightful for me. I had 5 athletes attending the course and they all agreed they would like to come back to PGC for a different curriculum. They learned a lot and they enjoyed the experience.
She Has More Confidence & Trusts the Process
She seems to have a lot more confidence - not that she'll make all of her shots, but that it's ok to take them and miss because that's part of the process. She also feels very good about her plan to get better.
Taking Away Better Ways To Coach
As a coach we don't know it all and can always learn. the course is well thought out and uses progression learning. I've taken away better ways to Coach my progressions and different ways to phrase concepts.
I Feel More Confident in My Game and Mindset
The point guard college was different than any other pgc I have been too and it was the most challenging both physically and mentally but now that I’m done i feel more confident in my game and my mindset
No AC
It was awesome I just wish the food was a little better and the dorms and gym had ac.
I Have Gotten Better
I have had the best experience ever I feel like I have learned a lot about not just basketball but as I person I feel like I can go play basketball without any set plays and like I have gotten better.
Too much walking
I thought Washington University was great, the food was good, but I don’t appreciate the walking.
Coming Back Next Year...Even If It's The Same Session!
I am defiently going to come back next year to PGC whether it’s a different session or this one because the impact it had on my basketball and personal life was amazing and only in a good way.
Helped Me To Teach Kids How To Bring the Ball To the Bucket
Really helped me to teach the kids how to bring the ball to the bucket and drills to reinforce. Also learned verbage on how to communicate better w/ the kids (just by observing Micah in action).
PGC taught me how to be a special player.
I had such a great time here at PGC this week and learned how to be a special player; I've never learned so much at a basketball camp in a week! It was definitely worth the money to come here!
I Have 10 Pages Of Notes, Seriously
I have 10 pages of notes, seriously. Enough said. Loved it. And this comes from someone who has been employed at the NBA and D1 levels. Thank you. If you want/need a testimonial, reach out.
No Wasted Time
Competitive. Perfect amount of kids so that there were no long lines…… so no one wasted time waiting in lines. Lots of good drills and tons of positive and constructive instruction.
Best Experience Ever
My PGC camp experience was the best experience i’ve had yet. I was always pushed my teamates pushed me and believed in me to get better as a player but as well as a person and leader.
It Taught Me How to Be a Great Leader
My experience was amazing. I loved it so much. It was such an eye opener to me that it’s bigger than basketball in most aspects of the game. It taught me how to be a great leader.
Students Learned On the Court And In the Classroom.
I loved the inclusive vibe, Rya loved the fact that there wasn't a lot of down time. I also appreciated the fact that students were able to learn on the court and in the classroom.
PGC has changed who I am.
PGC changed my life, it changed who I was, how I played. It was the one thing I was always missing, as a person and as a player. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. It was incredible.
Delivered Learnings Into Palatable Portions
I was able to gain a glimpse at how larger concepts in basketball can be broken down and delivered into palatable portions that athletes are able to implement rather quickly.
I’ve been involved in the great game of basketball for 25 years, and I learned more in the first three hours at PGC than in any ten years that I’ve spent in the game.
Gabriel Enyinwa
Coach Kyle did a great job pausing me when he saw me going in the wrong direction and made sure I understood afterward which was very helpful for my shooting development
My Son Struggles to Score in Game Time...
Jay is a good shooter but struggles to score in live action. The camp helped him learn multiple techniques and strategies that will make scoring easier this season.
PGC Far Exceeded My Expectations
PGC far exceeded my expectations. I truly feel I now have the opportunity to take back many tools to help celebrate and honor my athletes successes and journey.
Boring Food
I felt I learned a lot about basketball and how to be a better play on the court and off but I feel the food should of changed more frequently because I felt I was eating the same thing every day.
It was good but I was very tired
