Job Requirements

The following is a summary of the essential job requirements for members of the PGC Customer Service and Sales Team:

  • Be available to work from January/February until August.
  • Work varying hours each week depending on call and email volume.
  • Be able to work independently from a home office.
  • Have access to a personal computer with secure internet capabilities.
  • Have access to a workspace that allows for focused work with minimal background noises and distractions.

Job Description

The following is a summary of the essential duties for members of the PGC Customer Service and Sales Team:

  • Clearly and passionately articulate the benefits of PGC courses to parents, athletes, and coaches via telephone, email and/or online messaging.
  • Learn and articulate all aspects of each PGC offering.
  • Learn and use the PGC online database and registration system to register athletes and coaches for PGC sessions.
  • Follow outlined customer service protocol and sales procedures.
  • Strive for “WOW” contacts with customers through being flawless in service, trustworthy, attentive, resourceful, courteous, and pro-active.
  • Problem-solve and identify opportunities for enhancements with PGC’s customer service department.
  • Strong persuasion skills to increase conversions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Attended a minimum of two PGC summer sessions as athlete, observing coach, and/or instructor.
  • Experience in a call center and/or customer service role.
  • Experience in sales principles, methods, and applications.
