Derrick Seldon
PGC BASKETBALL DIRECTOR
Derrick, a 4 year college starter and 2x team captain, knows success. But it didn’t come easy. Like many, Derrick overcame droughts of self doubt and unfavorable odds, but he didn’t let that stop him.
He played in a state championship game, was heavily recruited to play in college, and eventually pursued a pro career here and abroad.
Derrick, who’s currently the assistant coach at the University of New Haven, knows what it takes to get to the next level. And for the past 6 years, he’s recruited and coached players who’ve become pros.
Derrick has a gift. He cares deeply about the players he coaches and knows how to help them reach their maximum potential. And that’s what he brings to every PGC session he’s a part of.
When your son/daughter attends a camp with Derek, they’ll work with, be inspired by, and grow from this experience more than any experience they’ve been to in the past.
