    PGC BASKETBALL DIRECTOR

Robby is a basketball fanatic whose love for the sport began in Anacoco, Louisiana where he excelled as an All-District Player. Rob continued his basketball journey at Louisiana Tech University where he played under future University of Georgia Head Coach Mike White and future University of Michigan Head Coach Dusty May. At every practice Robby soaked up the teaching of some of the best coaches in basketball.

While at Louisiana Tech, Robby graduated with a Masters Degree in Counseling, a degree that turned out to be more helpful on the basketball court than Rob initially realized! Rob initially thought helping people in the world of Counseling was his calling- but found out that lifting up athletes on a basketball court to be his favorite form of helping others.

Transitioning from player to coach, Robby has been a High School Head Coach in Louisiana since 2017. Robby specializes in developing young talent and fostering a culture of positive intensity on and off the court. During his time as coach, Robby has been recognized as District Coach of the Year and won a District Championship.

Robby first joined PGC in 2018 as a Basket Instructor. It was love at first sight. At PGC Rob found a platform to act out his love for people and basketball. Robby always felt like there was a way to pursue excellence through positivity- and he found that at PGC!

Currently, Robby is the Head Coach at Haughton High School in Shreveport, LA where he lives with his wife Madison and son Mauer.
