    PGC BASKETBALL DIRECTOR

I attended the parent session last night and was EXTREMELY impressed with the camp, and specifically with the camp director, Rob. I was blown away by his energy, how he held the attention of ALL the campers, and by the content of what he was teaching. He skillfully weaved together basketball skills, life skills, and leadership skills, while providing personal examples to illustrate his points. My son was engaged the entire time and loving camp. I had high expectations of this camp based upon reviews, but the camp and Rob, surpassed my expectation. Thank you.

For Rob Gardner, it wasn’t always obvious he would be a Division 1 basketball player. In fact, as an 8th grader, Rob was cut from the team and told he’d never be good enough to play high school ball. Instead of shutting down, Rob got back in the gym, found a trainer, and four years later was starting on varsity, eventually walking on at Vanderbilt. Rob knows that the key to success is a good plan, a good guide, and the willingness to show up.

Over the years, Rob has worked with hundreds of athletes, ranging from youth to professional, helping them develop the mindsets and skills they need to become the player, and person, that they desire to be.

If you’re looking for fun and focused training that is centered around helping you become the truest version of yourself, on and off the court, Rob is the trainer for you.

Outstanding experience! Rob’s energy is high level all week. He provided sound instruction throughout and took time to answer and interact with coaches throughout the week. PGC will be the foundation for my travel team.

What They’re Saying About Rob Gardner

"In all ways. We’ve never experienced another sports camp like it and we’ve tried many."
    - Judy Zhu

"Such high energy! I loved seeing the enthusiasm of the staff, since it really got the other kids and my son pumped up and excited to play and have fun. He came out of the camp with new moves, he loves "POOP" and continues to review his notebook. He is trying to get rid of "unfair" from his vocabulary, and understands the importance of hustle. He already understands the importance of time working on his shot and his ball handling, but this camp reinforced more of the soft skills that are so important for a good player to become great."
    - Dana Fitzgerald

"Rob Cross is full of energy that is infectious to his students. The money spent on sending myself and my two boys here was well worth it. We will be attending additional camps."
    - Brad Silvonen

"My daughter had a wonderful time. She loved the Sranton University campus and all the coaches and staff that helped her while she was at camp. She was afraid to go to camp, but now she can't wait till next year to return. I feel her skills and confidence improved. This program was what I was looking for so my daughter's confidence and love for the game would grow. Thank you to all the directors and staff that helped my daughter!"
    - Angela Williams

"Excellent camp, would recommend to anyone wanting to improve their mental and physical skills in the game of basketball/life."
    - Justin Balwanz

"The PGC camp was extremely beneficial for my two sons in that it is a multi-dimensional course experience. They received SO much more than just a traditional basketball camp can provide. They were stretched outside of their comfort zone even before drop off in that they needed to prepare for the week, pack their necessities and exercise their independent thinking while away from home."
    - Lissette Howell

"I was worried about how long the camp was each day and that I would have to force my child to go. That was never the case. My son raved about the instructors and how Knowledgeable they were."
    - Krysta Crane

"One of the best camps my kids have been to. They spent all day learning in positive environment. I noticed change in attitude and confidence by the end. Not all the way there but better."
    - Danielle Eliot
