  • Chad Friess

    PGC BASKETBALL DIRECTOR

Chad, who’s played and coached at a high level, understands perseverence better than most. Although unable to play his senior year after a football injury, Sterling College took a chance on him and he made the most of it – being named to All Freshman team and all defensive team in his first year.

His teammates have described him as a guy known for his defense and grit — something he helps instill in every player he works with.

After graduating from College, Chad won back to back state championships as an assistant coach for St. John High school!

After St. John high school, Chad got his first head coaching job at Summit Christian and was named Coach of the year in 2018.

Chad’s a winner, and knows how to develop winners! So when a player or coach attends a PGC camp with Chad, they’ll undoubetdly walk away a better leader, more competent player, and more fierce competitor.

Oo, and next time you see Chad, ask him about his greatest basketball moment that happened when he was in 5th grade. 😉
