Megan Murphy | Clinton Corners, New York

“I wanted to drop you a note and tell you how impressed I was with every aspect of the program. From your leadership to your instructors, I believe you have made a positive impact both on my son as well as me. I will admit to coming to PGC as a coach and thinking I wouldn’t learn much. I have been to a lot of “camps” in my time and thought this would primarily be good for my son. There are not many times that I think I got more than I paid for, but as far as I am concerned you couldn’t charge enough for the experience we both had. I believe it will change my son’s life as well as my own. I am going to use SCHAPE with all of my teams and we have instituted its principals in my own home!”

Any player who wants to have a serious chance to play college basketball—especially at the 'D1' level—needs to attend PGC. Going to PGC is the smartest move you can ever make.

Greg Tudor | West Lafayette, Indiana

Benefits Will Last a Lifetime
Austin Newton had a wonderful experience at his scorers camp. The first night when he checked in with home, he said he was so exhausted that he didn't know how he would make it through three more days. When I picked him up at noon on Friday he said "Somehow I had a lot of energy last night, it was like I was jumping higher, I was quicker and played really well". I have had many experiences in my life at baseball camps and basketball camps and I knew what to expect from a hard week of work. You do get exhausted and want to find a way to relax somehow. The fact is, that as the week goes on you develop friendships and talk about how tired you are and console each other until the fun kicks in and you realize that you are getting better each day. I'm proud of Austin for working through the pain and coming out the other side improved, and he told me how much he learned. He told me what he was doing better even after just three good days. Rooming, eating, sweating, and learning together makes us all better. The benefits from such times last a lifetime and Austin will always have his PGC experience to draw from when things get tough and as I tell him often, "Play hard until the buzzer goes off". My thanks for the directors with their professionalism and dedication to making a positive impact in young peoples lives. Kids learn from that as well!
Found a Supportive Family Far From Home
Simonas was getting a bit homesick prior to arriving at Wheaton College and this concerned me. But the camps active schedule helped him focus on his love for basketball and his commitment to improve as a player. His enthusiasm for the camp on our ride home convinced me that it had been a valuable experience. Please express our sincere thanks to your staff for the kind attention and support they game this young man who was far from home. We are very grateful.
I've been to 9 courses now...
PGC is always a transformational/refreshing experience for me as a coach. I enjoy watching the process of all the athletes as they grow throughout the week. I've been to 9 courses now and they are always great. You can see that there is thought and time put into improving the curriculum and the way they do things every year. Thank you for being a light! Stretched Out of Comfort Zone in the Best Way!
The PGC camp was extremely beneficial for my two sons in that it is a multi-dimensional course experience. They received SO much more than just a traditional basketball camp can provide. They were stretched outside of their comfort zone even before drop off in that they needed to prepare for the week, pack their necessities and exercise their independent thinking while away from home.
Learned More in 1 Day Than All Her Other Basketball Camps Combined!
The instructors were so positive and energetic, which made everyone feel welcome! Classroom sessions were great! This was by far one of the best basketball camps my daughter has attended. She said she learned more in one day at PGC than at all her other basketball camps combined! She loved all the instructors and found the classroom sessions extremely beneficial!
PGC was the highlight of my summer.
PGC was the highlight of my summer. when i first arrived, my nerves were all over the place. But as soon as i talked to the first staff member and felt all of their energy and encouragement for just being there, i felt right at home. the skills they taught on and off the court will definitely help me to be the best player and person i can be.
An Experience of a Lifetime
This was an experience of a lifetime, it shaped me so much as a person. This camp shows there is so much more in life than basketball, and showed what it was like to be a good person. It demonstrated how to be a leader, and how to be there for others. It taught attitude and gratitude, and all the things you need to be successful in life.
He Just Keeps Talking About It...
Creighton (11 years old absolutely loved Katie and the entire crew. He could not stop talking about how much he learned this week in camp and how it was one of his favorite camps he had ever attended. After camp concluded we went to a father/son camp in IA City and Creighton Immediately implemented what he had learned.
Recommended This Camp to Every Serious Coach and Player
We had 5 players attend and saw growth in all of them. It will definitely help us in the future. The coaches did a great job of supporting the director and providing energy to the group. I would recommend that everyone who is serious about coaching or playing attend PGC. Amazing experience, thank you
Better than AAU...
In one week of camp, my son was able to get more repetition and skill work than he did in an entire summer of AAU. I believe that the AAU experience provides him with lots of high level experience and competition, but PGC enables him to refine his craft and clean up bad habits or footwork.
Life-changing experience that I have never experienced before.
Life-changing experience that I have never experienced before. This course and the instructors involved have not only helped me gain some knowledge on the game but also grow as a person most importantly and also reignite my passion for coaching after a rough year at my school.
Helped My Son's Athletic Development
This camp was extremely beneficial for my son's athletic development, however it was even more impactful for his mentality. He learned intangible characters like leadership, mental toughness, and confidence. These are characteristics that are beneficial off the court as well.
I Wanted to Quit Basketball But Not Anymore...
I went into PGC expecting to stop playing basketball after my freshman year (I’m going into 9th this year but I came out enjoying the game so much more and with a much clearer understanding. I can’t wait to apply everything I learned to games and practice at home.
Hands Down the Best Camp I've Ever Experienced
I have been to coaching clinics all across the United States and this was hands down the best experience I have ever experienced. The learning environment, the passion, and the energy in which the director and staff attack each day is infectious.
I'm going to make my teammates better.
Coaches and staff were always there and in a way you could always rely as well as learning so much! I feel as if when I go back to my high school Im am going to be able to bring my teammates and I to the next level and be the coach on the floor
I always learn so much about basketball but most importantly life.
I always learn so much about basketball but most importantly life. I really liked the emphasis on being a good leader and how to sheep dog teammates. I have already attended this course, but I found myself learning new things in every session.
Encouraged My Daughter To Take Risks & Be More Confident
The director, Dakota, had a way of connecting with my daughter that encouraged her to take risks in becoming a better player and more confident individual. This is her second camp, and during this one, I really saw huge strides in my daughter.
Boring Food
I felt I learned a lot about basketball and how to be a better play on the court and off but I feel the food should of changed more frequently because I felt I was eating the same thing every day.
So Many Life Lessons!
So many life lessons! the way the classroom taught students how to be better not only in the game but as a person is one of the biggest things that I'll take away. That your actions scream while your words whisper was super impactful as well.
Extremely Worth My Time and Energy
PGC Grad School led by director Brad was extremely worth my time and energy. Of course there were times when I was tired and zoned out, but with the energy my director brought I was able to push through and gain tons of helpful information.

Re-wronte All His Notes
Connor LOVED PGC camp. He took notes and then came home and re-wrote all of his notes and read them to us each day and showed us examples. He's only 11 and he learned things that will last him a lifetime, on and off the court!
Every Serious Hooper Shoudl Attend...
Nothing but good things to say. It’s only going to help my career moving forward. It’d be hard to come here, in this environment, and not get better. Every serious hooper should attend one of these in their career.
No AC
It was awesome I just wish the food was a little better and the dorms and gym had ac.
