Getting Ready Updates

This Getting Ready page will be updated with the details you need for your session at least two weeks prior to your start date. We will email you a link to this page at that time.

In the meantime, complete your required health forms and refer to the most frequently asked questions we receive.

Background Check

PGC requires you to have a national background check that includes a national search of the sex offender database. The background check must be completed within the 12 months prior to your session starting.

When does check-in and check-out take place?

For all overnight camps, check-in runs from 11:00am-12:45pm on the first day. The session officially begins at 1:00pm with a 30-minute Parent Meeting. You are invited to attend this meeting so you can briefly hear from the director. You will then walk with a director to the first classroom session in order to get to know them. Check-out takes place at 11:30am on the final morning, immediately following the Closing Ceremonies.

For Skills Academy camps, check-in runs from 7:45am-8:15am on the first day. Each day of camp runs from 8:30am-4:00pm. Please note: The camp wraps up at 2:00pm on the final day, immediately following the Closing Ceremonies.

Where will check-in take place?

The specific check-in location for your session will be available on this page two weeks prior to your session.

What times do commuting coaches arrive and depart each day?

For all our overnight camps, check-in for commuters takes place at the same time and place as non-commuters.

Daily Arrival – Either 8:00am at the cafeteria or 8:45am at the lecture hall (meals are included for commuters).

Daily Departure – Playmaker College: 9:00pm each night and 11:00pm on the final night. Scoring College, Point Guard College, PGC Grad School:
