Join the FREE 2025 Priority ListAre a SERIOUS, dedicated elementary, middle school or high school player who truly wants to get better and who is open to trying new things and willing to explore their own self limiting beliefs.
Often hold back or pass up open shots to teammates out of fear of making mistakes.
Are shy (or introverted) and could benefit from being encouraged to get outside of their comfort zone and develop super important communication skills that can make all the difference on and off the court.
Have ever lost their passion for the game due to an injury, setback or some other adverse circumstance. (PGC is where players from elementary school to the NBA and WNBA come to re-ignite their passion!)
Are the kind of player who’s willing to put in the “unseen” hours required to become great. Nothing worth having in life comes easy and the demands of a PGC camp are no different.
Are looking for an intense, no-nonsense learning environment where players learn the “little things” that can make all the difference on and off the court.
However, if you said YES to at least one, we’d love to extend an invite for them to attend a fall weekend Shooting College with us where they can improve their shooting technique, gain confidence and learn leadership lessons for life… All in just ONE WEEKEND!!
Join the FREE 2025 Priority ListDear Caring Parent,
Over the past 20 years, I’ve traveled around the world as a basketball coach, trainer, and speaker to help over 250,000 students, NCAA coaches, and NBA players reach their full potential by doing ONE thing really well:
Now what exactly does that mean? I’m glad you asked because it’s really quite simple…
In fact, there are just 4 main components to thinking the game like a champion:
Learning how to incorporate the “little things” and contribute to your team in ways that give coaches no choice but to pay attention to you.
Learning how to overcome setbacks, losing, injuries, being benched, unfair treatment, and all the things that rob players of their confidence and joy for the game.
Learning how to inspire teammates, foster a sense of urgency and get others to work together at a high performance level.
Learning how to read the defense and make better decisions with the ball.
That sounds great, but aren’t most of these “intangibles” that mostly go unnoticed?
The short answer is yes, 100% percent…
But they are also the sort of game-changing skills (and super valuable life skills) that coaches at the high school, NCAA, NBA and WNBA level mostly look at when deciding who they want playing on their team.
Now whether your child wants to play Division 1 college ball, make more of the right plays when the game is on the line, or get more high-quality playing time…
work ethic
encouragement
leadership
communication
and all those “little things”
… can positively affect a group of people (especially on a basketball court) they can’t play basketball effectively.
… what we’ve found to be true over the past 30 years is this.
That’s why the NBA and WNBA have strict rules against kids going straight from high school to the pros. Their general lack of maturity and experience doing the ‘little things’ and developing the intangibles preclude them from succeeding at the highest levels.
Sure, there are exceptions, but they’re rare.
“My two boys and I attended PGC and had all assumed we were simply ‘going to a basketball camp’…
And what we collectively learned is that PGC is far more than ‘a basketball camp’.
I sat in the back of the classroom for a session and decided from there to shift my calls so I could make as many of the classroom sessions as possible.
I’ve attended hundreds of hours of leadership training over the years and what I witnessed my boys experiencing at PGC was among the best leadership/life training I have personally been exposed to. The fact that they leave loving basketball more than they did when they arrived, and with improved skills, is simply the icing on the cake!
Please accept my sincere thank you for doing the kind of work that has the potential for such positive impact on our children’s lives. We have purchased your Summer Lifetime Pass for both boys.”

Here’s the good news…
We lead them toward reaching their FULL potential, which results in a new found passion for the game.
The bottom line is this – YOU want what’s best for your child. I want to help you get that.
That’s why we’re inviting you to…
Give your child the gift of discovering the little-known skills, daily habits, mindset and leadership traits of some of the best shooters in today’s game. If you want your child to finally have the
Confidence to Take the Open Shot
Join the FREE 2025 Priority ListThe #1 mistake players make before a game even starts that’s all but guaranteed to crush their shooting confidence no matter how much time they spend practicing. (This is something that can be fixed within 5 seconds and doesn’t require changing their shooting mechanics.)
Why thinking like a ‘mad scientist’ might just be the fastest way ever discovered to consistently knock down more shots in games.
A “crash course” on how to build their own personal step-by-step shooting workout based on a 3-part formula our team learned while training with NBA shooters. (Without these 3 steps, it’s nearly impossible to translate practice performance into game results.)
How to develop a lightning-quick release that can potentially lead to getting off more shots and scoring more points.
3 drills Steve Nash (the most accurate shooter in NBA history) built into his training routine that can build more confidence literally overnight.
An obvious (but often overlooked) technique most NBA & WNBA players use to effortlessly generate more power. (Damian Lillard & Steph Curry are probably best known for this little trick which can immediately increase your range and help you avoid getting left behind in today’s game, which requires the ability to accurately shoot from distance.)
One of the easiest ways to find out (in real-time) if you are actually improving your shot or not. (Plus, you will receive our shooting specialist’s favorite shot-tracking tool that makes measuring your progress fun and interactive.)
How to create more separation (and shoot with less moving parts) so you can easily get your shot off more often when in traffic.
One easy “tweak” you can make to your shooting motion to potentially increase accuracy by up to 5 or even 10 percent in one weekend. (This tip comes straight from 3x WNBA Champion and 10x WNBA All-Star, Diana Taurasi.)
If you’ve ever watched your child struggle to have the confidence to take the open shot, aggressively attack the rim, or be a leader on and off the court, PGC is the place for them to be this fall!

Our team is working around the clock to confirm our 2025 fall weekend camp locations and our schedule will be posted online for your preview on July 16th @ 9am EST.
We'll be offering over 50 weekend shooting colleges this fall all across North America.
We get this question often and it's not about being 'good enough.'
If your child is a dedicated player who loves the game and wants to improve, they'll fit right in. If they're not interested in learning the game, PGC is probably not for them, regardless of how good they are.
Players are placed in skill-based groups, so if your child is a less experienced player, they'll be with others who are similar — and if they're one of the top players, they'll be with other top players.
The majority of our Fall Shooting College sessions can only accept 64-96 players. Typically, basketball camps are two to three times the size of our sessions, but we don’t take any more players than our course director can know by name.
With more than 17,000 players registered this year for our summer camps and only 3,000 spots available at our Fall Shooting Colleges we expect we'll have to turn away lots of players this Fall, but we limit enrollment so that we can provide the best experience possible for players and ensure they get up over 500 shots per day.
Over 140,000 players and 10,000 coaches have attended a PGC camp over the past 31 years and the feedback is consistent.
Players who are eager to learn and get better have a really special experience. A player who thinks they know it all already and isn't interested in getting better doesn't typically enjoy their time with us.
As long as your son or daughter has a passion for the game and wants to improve, they're going to love their time at PGC.
As we stand behind the experience we provide, and to remove any risk for you, we are the only camp in the camp industry to offer a 100% Money-Back Guarantee.
If your child attends an entire PGC session and you aren’t completely satisfied with their basketball experience, simply contact us within this calendar year and not only will we refund your entire camp tuition, we will also send you an additional $500 cash to help cover any of your other basketball events or travel related expenses this year, to help further your child’s development.
But don’t just take our word on the impact of the PGC experience. Check out what a few PGC grads had to share about their time at PGC:
Yes. We teach the game, not a group of skills specific to one position.
Any player will benefit from any PGC camp—regardless of their position—as long as they are eager to learn the game.
There are no talent shows, swim breaks, or celebrity autograph signings, and we don’t roll out the balls and “just play”. You can find these things at many basketball camps, but not at PGC.
We believe when you invest in your game, you should actually get better and improve. So, our commitment is to NEVER waste a player's time or attention.
If you’re injured prior to your session, we recommend you still attend. Many players have done this, and nearly every player has said they were glad they did. The majority of teaching takes place in the classroom, so as long as you can write and sit in a chair, you’ll get all the information that every other player receives.
Note: Every player's health and safety is our utmost priority. We've consulted college coaches and top athletic trainers to ensure we're taking every precaution possible to minimize the risk of injuries at the camp, including managing the physical load placed on players and ensuring proper rest and recovery time. We will also have an athletic trainer onsite for the duration of the camp.
The average PGC camp attracts players from 11 different states, as well as a handful of international players. Hundreds of players fly, endure long bus rides, or beg a parent or coach to drive them 10-12 hours to get to PGC. We are constantly amazed at how far some players will travel to attend a session.
Right now, players in North Dakota, Alaska, Lithuania, and New Zealand are coming up with creative ways to get themselves to PGC.
So, don’t let distance be a deal-breaker for you. Where there’s a will, there's usually a way.
“When we left PGC, we had a 10-hour trip ahead of us, so I thought that Daymon would sleep most of the way home. Although physically exhausted, he was so energized and excited that we talked for over nine hours about his experience at PGC. He said, ‘Dad, this was one of the greatest weeks of my life.’ Last night, I watched him play in open gym and he is already incorporating what he learned into his game. Thanks for the positive impact that you made on our son.”
— Joe Osborn, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
How determined are you or your child to attend a PGC camp?
If you are truly determined, there are ways to make it happen, even if you are financially challenged. Lots of parents and players have done it. We hear their stories all the time.
If you can’t help your child pay for the camp, don’t let that stop them. Right now, a player in Texas is figuring out how many lawns he has to mow to get to a session, while a player in Chicago is calculating how many driveways she has to shovel to get to a camp. For decades now, players have been resourceful in finding ways to raise the money they need to attend. What about you?
As a competitive athlete, your child will always face obstacles in their life, and some may seem impossible to overcome. But whatever the current circumstances, there is someone out there who has faced the exact same circumstances and found a way to realize their goals.
Once they've done these things, if they still need assistance, let us know and we'll do our part to support you. We help many players each year, especially when they've shown us their level of commitment to attending PGC. Get further details here.
Note: We also provide a financial discount for clergy and military families. Contact us for details.
You can wait until you know your fall schedule before you register. The only problem is, the session you want to attend may be sold out.
To make it risk-free for you, we have two Tuition Protection options available when you reserve your spot (see below). In addition, as long as it's at least two weeks prior to your session, you can transfer to another camp without any additional cost.
Things sometimes come up that are unavoidable—we get it. That's why we offer Tuition Protection, so you can have peace-of-mind.
Cancellation Policy: If your child can't attend the camp for any reason, including schedule conflicts, last-minute injuries, a concussion, an unexpected illness, or a family emergency, you will receive a 100% credit for camp fees paid that can be applied to a future camp, transferred to a friend, or donated to an underprivileged player. Without tuition protection, camp fees are non-refundable.
In the unlikely event that PGC has to cancel the camp, 100% of your tuition fees paid will be credited towards a future PGC camp.
With Tuition Protection: The purchase of tuition protection during registration will give you a full refund if you cancel more than 5 days before your camp and a 100% PGC credit if you cancel within 5 days of camp. ($55)
With Tuition Protection: The purchase of tuition protection during registration will give you a full refund if you cancel more than 5 days before your camp and a 100% PGC credit if you cancel within 5 days of camp.
Fee: $75 for day camps and $125 for residential camps.
Note: Without a protection plan, tuition is non-refundable.
Yes! The 2 camp pass can be used toward any of our 5-day Point Guard Prep and Playmaker College day camps and is fully refundable. The pass can also be used toward a Fall Shooting College.
He was forced out of his comfort zone, which always creates an environment for personal growth. The classroom aspect of the camp was what intrigued me the most about the PGC camps. The more that I read and learned about the PGC camp content, the fact that participants are taught about leadership and taught about how to view yourself in a manner that instills confidence was something that I wanted my son to experience. Sending him to a camp that only taught about leadership and self-confidence would have been hard to get buy-in but when it is coupled with basketball, which is something that he loves, became an easy sale.
This is the sixth PGC event I have attended and I am fortunate enough to be a host. The curriculum directors and staff never disappoint. I am amazed how much I continue to learn at these sessions. Dustin was PHENOMENAL! His attention to detail and making every athlete feel valued is a special gift!
I was able to attend the camp as an observant coach, and it was unbelievable to witness at first hand, the energy and growth in the entire group in such a way, that impacted not only their game, but their lifes. Austin and the entire staff were amazing!!
PGC was the best camp for me. I never been so in love with the game so motivated and so engaged to want to learn more. This has been the best experience for me and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to attend this
Our daughter was clearly motivated by the end of this camp. She was excited by the content in the classroom and the drills in the gym. She is excited to apply what she learned to take her game to the next level.
the instruction in the gym and class provided great ideas that I can use in my own program. I love that everything that was discussed are skills/intangibles that every player can display.
I have new, more precise vocabulary to utilize and additional levels of drills to incorporate into my practices. In addition, my energy and joy for coaching has been recharged.
This camp impacted me tremendously. I highly motivated and excited to bring things back to my hometown. In order to be a good coach, I gotta bring juice to my athletes.
I learned so much every day and everyone at camp was just amazing how everyone supports everyone and everyone is trying to make everyone else better
As a result of attending PGC, I have a new commitment in life from it both as a coach but also as an individual, spouse, employee, peer, and leader.
I feel like as a coach I understand more about the game and know how to apply it to my team.
It helped my son find his confidence and he feels that he understands the game better.
