    PGC BASKETBALL DIRECTOR

Blake Silves is an enthusiastic teacher who spreads love and joy through the game of basketball. His passion is helping young athletes pursue their fullest potential as a player and a person.

As a player, Blake knows what it’s like to face adversity, feel underestimated, and overcome on his way to becoming a key contributor on a back to back state championship team – considered to be the best team in school history.

Throughout the journey of learning the game, Blake was blessed to be surrounded by multiple hall-of-fame coaches that deepened his love of learning the details of the game. As a passionate learner of the game, Blake feels grateful to be a part of PGC, so he can clearly teach and share the love of the game of basketball that produces not only high-level basketball players, but also leaders on and off the court.

If you choose to send your son or daughter to attend a session with Blake, they will come back, not only a better player, but person too.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
    – Matthew 5:14-16

What They’re Saying About Blake Silves

"My daughter knows she needs to work on her mental toughness and ability to help lead her team especially when faced with adversity. At PGC she learned to think differently and has built up her confidence."
    - Amanda Landi

"As a coach, I plan on implementing the PGC culture within the program to create a championship environment. As a PGC grad myself, this was an excellent refresher on terms and ideas that I plan on using once we return home. This experience benefitted more than myself, but the program by bringing 7 girls to learn and practice these habits firsthand"
    - Jourden Williams
