Brig Schofield

Growing up, Brig lived and breathed basketball. He is the son of an incredibly successful high school coach, and grew up traveling the state of Oregon with his dad to games. From sitting on the end of the bench cheering for his favorite team to fulfilling his dream of playing college basketball, and now being a part of the BYU Men’s Basketball program, he has been around the game of basketball his entire life.

As a player, Brig had a decidedly successful career. In high school he led his team in scoring two years in a row, along with a team high in rebounds and steals in separate years. He was a four year starter, a 3x all league player and 1x all state player. In college, he was captain of the region championship team and earned a stellar 38-6 record during his career.

But of all the things he accomplished as a player, he is most proud of the impact he’s left behind on the cultures and the people within the programs he’s been a part of. His leadership has shone through and helped him leave a lasting impact on the lives of teammates, coaches, fans, and staff involved with his teams.

This leadership is what Brig will bring to a PGC session with your athlete. As a fanatic for teaching skill acquisition and the intricate details of the game, your athlete will leave with better insight on how to continue improving when they get home.

Brig loves to laugh, and continues to be involved with the game because of the joy it brings. When your athlete attends a PGC session with Brig, they will experience the infectious joy he shares with everyone around him.

No matter where your athlete is on their journey as a player and a person, they will leave with a perspective that will challenge them to aspire for greatness, and have a better understanding of how to do it.
