  • Dan Decker

You taught him how to have confidence in himself and to be patient with himself and his game. You were enthusiastic and shared your positivity every single lesson! You have an ability to share your vast knowledge and skill set of the game of basketball in a way that others can understand and implement in their own life. You have a gift of teaching basketball and we were blessed to be able to have you.

Dan was a 1,000-point scorer at the high school and collegiate levels. At only 5’9, Dan had to develop a high skillset through consistent training to get the attention of college coaches. That skillset allowed Dan to be a 4-year starter during his college career. Dan was a two-time NCCAA All-Region player, and lead his team in 3FG (at .486%) makes that finished #1 in NCAA 3FG% during the 2012-2013 season.

Dan has served as an Athletic Director of NYSPHSAA Basketball State Champions Mekeel Christian Academy in 2017-2018, and has served as an assistant coach for Conference Champions Madonna University in 2019-2020.

Dan graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Clarks Summit University, and a Master’s Degree in Business Leadership from Madonna University.

Currently Dan is the City Director for the San Diego location for Pro Skills Basketball.

"There was very good instruction about shooting on the move and confidence. We also learned good drills to do at home to help us in games."
