Desirae Hansen

Coach Desi was a 5 year college athlete 3 years at Portland State and 2 at Mcneese State. Basketball has taken Desi many places she never thought she’d go. Basketball has given her opportunities she never thought was possible. This game has given her friendships that will last a lifetime and memories she will never forget. She wants to give back in the love and commitment she was giving growing up!

Desi is a caring coach who loves the game of basketball and the people who play it. She loves learning others’ thoughts on the game knowing there are multiple ways the game can be taught.

Desi was raised in a house where they built tables longer, not their fences higher. The more the merrier. There was never a dull or quiet moment and she wouldn’t have had it any other way. No matter what life threw at her she always knew who she could count on. To Desi family is everything.
