Elise Coberly

For more than two decades, basketball has been a defining part of Elise Coberly’s life. Introduced to the game at just seven years old, she quickly developed a deep love for basketball and the life lessons it teaches, discipline, resilience, teamwork, and confidence. What began as a passion for playing has evolved into a lifelong commitment to helping young athletes grow both on and off the court.

Over the past 10 years, Elise has dedicated herself to coaching and mentoring athletes through school basketball, AAU programs, and PGC Basketball camps. Throughout her coaching career, she has impacted hundreds of players by creating an environment that is equal parts challenging, encouraging, and transformational. Parents consistently appreciate the way Elise connects with athletes beyond basketball, helping them become more confident communicators, stronger teammates, and emerging leaders in every area of life.

What sets Elise apart is her intentional coaching style. Rather than simply giving answers, she teaches athletes how to think for themselves. She coaches through questions, emphasizes understanding the “why” behind decisions, and encourages players to become active learners of the game. Her teaching approach helps athletes develop a deeper basketball IQ while also building independence, accountability, and confidence that extends far beyond sports.
