James Purchin
PGC BASKETBALL DIRECTOR
As someone who currently trains and consults for multiple NBA, overseas, and college players & teams, James Purchin knows exactly what it takes to play basketball at a very high level and is looking forward to helping serious, dedicated players who want to do just that.
Using a combination of the latest foundational skill development training, teaching points and drills, Coach James has helped 100’s of aspiring players reach their dreams of playing in college and beyond.
He’s currently the coach of a year-round Oregon AAU program called the Northwest Select and assists in the NBA Pre-Draft.
For over 15 years, Coach James has been instilling in young players, the importance of developing a relentless work ethic and passion for the game and he is excited to help your player do the same.
He prides himself on being a lifelong learner of the game and is passionate about helping players reach their full potential on and off the court.
Coach James currently lives in Portland, Oregon.
