Markeith Madison
PGC BASKETBALL DIRECTOR
Markeith was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He fell in love with the game of basketball at the age of 5 while sitting in front of his TV watching Michael Jordan dominate. From that moment on, Markeith carried a basketball with him everywhere he went.
In his senior year of high school, Markeith’s team won a 6A state championship and he earned an opportunity to play college basketball, and eventually play overseas.
After injury cutting his playing time short, Markeith worked in sales for 6 years before deciding to go back to school to get his PHD in Sports Performance Psychology. Today, he uses his experiences and the knowledge he has gained to connect with athletes and help them understand their journey and actualize their goals and dreams.
