    Training Director

Nathan Lowther’s journey in basketball is rooted in resilience, humility, and a deep commitment to helping young athletes maximize their potential. Introduced to the game at a young age, Nathan quickly developed a passion for basketball and dedicated himself fully to improving as a player. By his senior year of high school, his hard work had begun opening doors to opportunities at the collegiate level. But when a significant injury to his shooting wrist unexpectedly altered the course of his playing career, Nathan chose to channel his love for the game into coaching and mentorship instead.

That decision would become the foundation of an incredibly impactful coaching career. While still a freshman in college, Nathan began assistant coaching at the high school level, gaining valuable experience leading and developing young athletes. Shortly after graduating college, he became a head high school boys basketball coach at just 20 years old — an uncommon achievement that reflected both his leadership ability and basketball knowledge. Over the past six seasons, Nathan has continued building successful programs while accumulating more than 100 career wins as a head coach.

What makes Nathan especially relatable to players is the perspective he brings from his own journey. After attending PGC Basketball twice as a high school athlete, he now openly shares that he did not fully embrace the lessons and habits being taught at the time. Looking back, he recognizes how much those principles could have elevated his playing career. That self-awareness now fuels his passion for ensuring today’s athletes truly understand and apply the habits, mindset, and leadership skills that PGC teaches.

Since joining PGC Basketball in 2022, Nathan has traveled across the country impacting athletes from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and skill levels. Players respond to his authenticity, energy, and ability to connect through real-life experience. He is passionate about helping athletes build confidence, compete with purpose, and develop habits that extend far beyond basketball.

For Nathan, coaching is about more than wins and losses, it’s about helping young people become disciplined, resilient leaders who are prepared to succeed in every area of life.
