Megan Murphy | Clinton Corners, New York

“I wanted to drop you a note and tell you how impressed I was with every aspect of the program. From your leadership to your instructors, I believe you have made a positive impact both on my son as well as me. I will admit to coming to PGC as a coach and thinking I wouldn’t learn much. I have been to a lot of “camps” in my time and thought this would primarily be good for my son. There are not many times that I think I got more than I paid for, but as far as I am concerned you couldn’t charge enough for the experience we both had. I believe it will change my son’s life as well as my own. I am going to use SCHAPE with all of my teams and we have instituted its principals in my own home!”

Sean O’Neil, Hudson | Hudson, New Hampshire

Any player who wants to have a serious chance to play college basketball—especially at the 'D1' level—needs to attend PGC. Going to PGC is the smartest move you can ever make.

Greg Tudor | West Lafayette, Indiana

“My son has been a different kid since this basketball camp. Now he thinks talks and acts like a leader. He’s playing with passion, fire, and energy. Honestly, I can’t believe it is my son. Scoring College taught him how to play the right way.”

Food wasn’t great, dorms were ok, basketball was great.

Incredibly Positive and Enthusiastic Coaches
The positivity and enthusiasm was incredible! 'Seeing' every kid, knowing their names, caring about their individual development was huge. The classroom information and having it all written down will be a very helpful resource. Character development that improves the player on the court but more importantly, the human in life is a gift that PGC provides. The emphasis on doing all the little things is a consistent message at camp and one that will live in their heads during future practices and games. I can't say enough about this camp. There cannot be a better director and coaches anywhere! Thank you so much for investing your time and energy in my son!
Loved the Drills that Taught IQ
Motivated and gave me ideas of how to teach, coach, encourage, edify, and stay true to my original vision and mission as a coach. Also gave me ideas of how to incorporate competitiveness, camaraderie, and collaboration simultaneously. I loved the drills that taught IQ as much as other skills. They fit perfectly into the offense I plan to implement. I could teach these drills alone without telling my team what offense they’re running and they’d be fine.
Nowhere Else is there an Experience Quite Like This
Grad is by far the single best I have improved at basketball at once. I feel like I have not only grown as a basketball player , but also as a leader and human being moving forward. Nowhere else is there an experience quite like this. I have recommended this to all of my teammates and have gotten several of the to come. Thank you to everyone who has served the athletes this week. What you guys have done for me and my game will never leave me.
Dorms are mediocre but camp is amazing!
The dorms where a little unclean but the food was good and coaches were very nice and it was fun playing with older kids
there Are Not Enough Words To Describe the Incredible Experience I'Ve Had At PGC Playmaker College
there are not enough words to describe the incredible experience I've had at PGC Playmaker College. the course itself was set up wonderfully and was full of pertinent information. I know the athletes had to have learned so much because I did as a coach. Specifically, I took away how to bring a spirited culture to a gym and a classroom. I also learned how to structure a practice and have gained many coaching points to bring to my athletes.
there Are So Many Benefits I Learned From This Course
there are so many benefits I learned from this course that I am taking with me. the few I can share is building/having chemistry with the athletes. Be able to communicate with each child and bring the best from each one of them. these coaches were not just standing they were showing/sharing their passion which each child. Not one moment did I see a coach get tired or even show lack of interest or lack of energy. WOW!!!!
Should Have Started Attending Sooner
Oh my she loved the camp!! We just wish she would have attended before her going into her senior year of High School. Everything she learned will benefit her not only on the court but off the court. We will highly recommend this camp to others and believe there will already be more that will attend next year from out area. Thank you for provideing her this opportunity.
Pushed Me Out Of My Comfort Zone Many Times
PGC was really helpful and pushed me out of my comfort zone many times. I learned a lot about basketball strategies on and off the court. My only recommendation for improvement was to have more organized order of topics for the classroom session (like cover all of a certain topic, etc leadership, on one day rather than giving us a little bit of info on it every day).
It Helped Renew My Energy To Keep Coaching
PGC resonates with my natural coaching philosophy and thus legitimizes my instincts, while giving me the vocabulary and confidence to follow them more fully. (Gamefying, positivity, larger purpose of building cultural leaders rather than merely skilled players) It also helped renew my energy to keep coaching, even in potentially more challenging situations.
This Experience Was Incredible
This experience was incredible. the energy, curriculum, and staff was all the best it could possibly be. Everything was extremely organized, thoroughly thought out, and executed well. Everyone was a leader by the end of the camp, and it's truly remarkable how an encouraging environment can result in such a change in players, in such a short amount of time.
Will Definitely Try to Get All My Players to Attend
I learned so so so much over the 5 days. It makes me motivated to take what I learned and try to spread it throughout my program. I loved everything about this program at PGC they teach the kids basketball but also stuff to use throughout their life. I will definitely try and get all my player to attend this course and other courses you provide.
An Experience of a Lifetime
This was an experience of a lifetime, it shaped me so much as a person. This camp shows there is so much more in life than basketball, and showed what it was like to be a good person. It demonstrated how to be a leader, and how to be there for others. It taught attitude and gratitude, and all the things you need to be successful in life.
Best out of All the PGC Camps I've Attended
This was definitely the best out of all the PGC camps that I have attended. I was able to learn a ton and also really enjoyed it. I liked that it had less time where we were just watching people demo the next drill and more time being able to do it/playing. I also liked that we had teams for the week because we got to know them so well.
I Could Almost Cry!
Staff! Every staff member knew my child’s name and who he was! The life skills content (classroom) exceeded my expectations! You hit on everything my son NEEDED. I could almost cry! I think coming from someone credible other than Mom may make the difference. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!
So Welcoming!
It was very good, learned a lot of new things to take back with me. Although it is a basketball camp, they teach you things that apply to all aspects of life. The PGC environment is so welcoming and makes you play harder and better. Also you meet new people that help you become better
Life-changing experience that I have never experienced before.
Life-changing experience that I have never experienced before. This course and the instructors involved have not only helped me gain some knowledge on the game but also grow as a person most importantly and also reignite my passion for coaching after a rough year at my school.
Made Friends. Lost My Voice. PGC is Great.
At PGC, I made friends, learned great things about basketball and life in general, and had a great time doing so. My voice got coarse and my body was often tired, but that’s just part of the game. I had some issues with the college campus, but all things PGC were great.
This Was Unlike Any Other Camp I Have Done Before
This was unlike any other camp I have done before. the classroom sessions were incredible and the gym sessions taught me things I never thought of before. For example, when faking a pass I was taught to put the hall out but at PGC I was taught to fake with my whole body.
The Perfect "I Do, We Do, You Do" Approach to Learning
It exceeded mine and my daughters expectations in so many ways! My daughter works by seeing things visually so seeing it on the film, having the coaches show her and then having her do it is the perfect "I do, we do, you do" approach that she needs to learn effectively.
Simply the best!!!
This experience is exactly that - an experience. It is simply the best that I have ever attended in over 20yrs of coaching. I highly recommend it to all levels of coaches. Bring lots of note taking materials - you will need them. You will truly enjoy every minute.
She Was Intimidated at First...
She felt a lessor player, and was intimidated by the ability of older more capable players when they were grouped together. She did much better once they were separated by age and ability, and came out feeling more confident in her ability, so that is a big positive!
Great Camp Structure for Players and Coaches
I was very impressed with the structure of the camp. The energy that Coach Matt & staff brought was very infectious throughout the week. As an observing coach I had access to everything throughout the week and felt extremely welcomed! Thanks Coach Steinbrock
Sore and Tired
Overall my experience and PGC was pretty good. I had a lot of fun with meeting new people and playing and learning the game. The only downside was that I was always sore and tired throughout the week.
Jaxson Wood
This week has been a blast and totally changed the way I play basketball! I enjoyed learning the stride stop, arrums, and other moves that I am excited to use in games. The classroom sessions also changed the way I look at everything in my life.
No AC
It was awesome I just wish the food was a little better and the dorms and gym had ac.
Gave Me More Advanced Drills
Gave me more advanced drills for my more skilled players and gave me good on-site on how to create a good culture. I like the moves that where taught. Now to install them into practice and have kids work through the struggle will be big
Fun and Educational!!
My son did not want to come home afterwards. It really gave him a fun breakdown of the game and explanation of his trouble areas, but more importantly taught him lessons of attitude and self accountability on and off the court.
Learned Teaching Techniques
I was able to see how efficiently a coach(es) can manage the energy and attention of a group of players. I also learned teaching techniques, network with other coaches across the country, see great drills and practices.
Changed My Attitude When Playing the Game
PGC was by far my favorite camp that I've ever attended. I've learned new ways to approach the game, new ways to change my attitude when playing the game, and made friends that I never would've imagined I would have.
Great for Parents and Players!
I have attended PGC over 10 years now. I am so excited to see my own kids take advantage of the teachings PGC provides. I have seen a change in my own kiddos, as well as my athletes. Thank you for the opportunity.
Very Inisghtful for All of Us
The session was very insightful for me. I had 5 athletes attending the course and they all agreed they would like to come back to PGC for a different curriculum. They learned a lot and they enjoyed the experience.
I Improved In Many Areas
I feel I improved in many areas including the areas that I wanted to improve most in. I also improved in areas that didn't really cross my mind before arriving here like better leadership, communication, etc.
From 16 PPG to 30 Points In His First Game After PGC
On summer HS league Damon was scoring 16 points average. First game after Scoring College and he scored 30 points, leading his team, asserting himself on the court and positively encouraging his teammates.
A 10-year old Takes Pages and Pages of Notes
All expectations were exceeded. My daughter is 10 and her favorite part was the classroom sessions. She took pages and pages of notes and plays. She was so excited to bring them back to show her teammates!
Taught How To Have Mentality Like A Pro
PGC was an amazing experience they get you better and tell you what it takes to play and and to have the mentality like a pro it gets you out of your comfort zone a challenges you mentality and physically
Mentally and Physically Exhausting...
It was a mentally and physically exhausting week but I would do it again in a heart beat. The kind loving people around and just the genuine care each of the instructors has for the players is fantastic.
PGC is Intoxicating!
PGC is a mindset, a way of life, the high standard you have created and continue to keep extremely present, is so intoxicating! Uplifting, inspiring environments while providing endless amounts of tools
PGC Provided Coaching Strategies
PGC provided coaching strategies that will help my players to be the best they can be. Information is gold and a wise investment to enhance your credibility with other coaches, athletes and parents.
Worried I'd Have to Force My Child To Go - Boy Was I Wrong!
I was worried about how long the camp was each day and that I would have to force my child to go. That was never the case. My son raved about the instructors and how Knowledgeable they were.
Life Transforming!
PGC is life transforming! I’ve never been to a camp where whether it be Troupe or other players of mine have attended haven’t left saying they felt renewed and better for attending.
the Best Camp I'Ve Attended
This was the best camp I've attended. As a coach you may think you know it all, however I learned a lot that I can add to my coaching and teaching of the sport of basketball and life.
The Positive Attitudes & Amped Up Environment Was Great
My kid learned a ton, and had lots of fun. I appreciated they spent as much time in the classroom, and grew as people too. The positive attitudes and amped up environment was great.
There Aren't Enough Words or Time
There isn't enough time to explain the experience that we all took in this week.. Its impossible to explain the atmosphere that was brought. It was something we will never forget.
I was injured but not left out.
I had shin splints, but never for one second felt left out. I even think I had a better opportunity to grow mentally just getting to watch and soak up all the information I could.
More Confidence to Play to Their Full Potential
Dustin was phenomenal as director. His teaching, knowledge and enthusiasm elevated the camp to new heights and gave all the kids confidence to play to their full potential.
This Camp Impacted Me Tremendously
This camp impacted me tremendously. I highly motivated and excited to bring things back to my hometown. In order to be a good coach, I gotta bring juice to my athletes.
Improved on a Fundamental Level
My son learned so much about how to improve his game at a fundamental level. It was hard for him to break down the old habits, but in the end, he was better for it.
Using What I Learned in My Every Day Life!
It was great and I loved it!! It definitely made me better and I can’t wait to take what I learned at this camp and use it on the court and in my every day life!!
First Game After Camp Shows Great Improvement
Today she played her first tournament since returning from camp..I see lots of improvement in her game already..she is more in control of herself and the ball..
Wished He'd Gone Earlier in His Playing Career
We wished that we had started going to PCG prior to his senior year of high school. He would have thoroughly benefited from going all throughout high school.
I Love the Importance Of Teaching the Athletes
It was great! I love the importance of teaching the athletes why we do drills or why they should do something. I love the life lessons that are taught here!!
The Experience Didn't Make Them Better at Just Basketball...
The experience didn't just make them better at basketball, it made them think more about being a better teammate, leader and just all around better person :)

Teaching us how to relate to players to have a larger impact on them in LIFE. Also how to correctly implement new skills and using the correct progression.

Kyle did an excellent job. He brought energy. He obviously loves to teach the kids. In talking with him, he obviously loves to learn. And he can play ball.
Worth the Money!
It met all of my expectations. As a single mom who works multiple jobs, I wanted to make sure that the money I was spending was going to make an impact!
Left a Better Player!
I definitely learned a lot during the camp and I feel that I will leave here a better player and bring back positive skills and mentalities to my team.
The Level of Play Helped Me Improve
This was not like any basketball experience I’ve ever had. The level of play and the intensity really helped me improve as a player and as a leader.
