Lauren Stamatis is currently a course director for PGC. As a high school senior, Lauren first attended Point Guard College in the summer of 2001 when the course was directed by Dena Evans. She then began her collegiate playing career at the University of Redlands where she now ranks eight in all-time scoring and was a three-time all-conference selection. Following the completion of her Bachelor’s degree, Lauren went on to pursue collegiate coaching while also earning her Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University.

Lauren is in her sixth year as head coach at Olivet Nazarene University. Her “Tigerball” teams are known for their high-octane offense and hold the all-time national scoring record for all women’s basketball divisions at 111 points per game. Since taking the reins of the program, her teams have made five NAIA National Championship appearances including a finish in the sweet sixteen (2014) and the elite eight (2016). Lauren’s accolades include several IBCA NAIA Division II Coach of the Year nominations as well as a WBCA Regional Coach of the Year award. Her teams have put together six straight 20+ wins per season.

Lauren is engaged to be married to Justin Glenn this May and lives in Bourbonnais, Illinois.
