Matt McLeod has been a part of the PGC team in a myriad of roles since the spring of 2011, and currently serves as a year-round Director, the coordinator of PGC program clinics, and is a part of the PGC curriculum team.

In addition to his roles with PGC, Matt is in his first year as the head coach at Casady High School in Oklahoma City, OK. Prior moving to OKC, Matt had been a head coach in Texas high schools for10 years; where he was recognized three times as the state’s Outstanding Coach of the Year by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches.

Matt spent the last two seasons at The Covenant Preparatory School (Kingwood, Texas), where the program has amassed a record of 62-15, including a district championship and Final Four appearance at the 2016-17 state tournament.

Matt’s first interaction with PGC founder Dick DeVenzio was as a junior in high school when Matt was invited to attend a Prep Stars recruiting event. He then attended an PGC session with one of his athletes in 2010. After seeing what an incredible difference PGC made on his athlete and himself, Matt immediately began implementing the concepts of SCHAPE into both his basketball program and personal life.

Matt graduated from Oral Roberts University in 2004 with bachelor degrees in both communications and English. There, he met his wife Emily, and they have four children: Olivia (10), Wesley (8), Boyce (5) and Elizabeth Joy (3).

Matt’s favorite quote is from Hall of Fame coach John Wooden, “You have not taught them until they have learned.”
