Clint Cybulski | Emmanuel College Men’s Basketball

“At PGC, Dalton learned how to “think the game” and be a student of the game. All aspects of Dalton’s game took off after attending camp… His playing time increased. His points per game increased. His rebounds increased. But most importantly, he walked away a better human being and with the understanding that how he played in games, didn’t define who he was as a person. Listen to Dalton’s story to learn more today…”

Dalton Peterson | Chadron State College

“…the PGC approach to training really opened my eyes and gave me a new perspective on how to get better. Overall, this has been the best basketball experience of my life.”

Keith Steffeck | Upper Iowa University

“I wasn’t the fastest, the strongest, or the tallest, so learning the game became my biggest attribute. PGC teaches the little things, and that’s what college recruiters noticed.”

Ivy Wolf | University of Dayton

“I Finally Discovered What Coaches Wanted To See”
“Not only did my physical skills improve, but I learned valuable lessons on how to study, examine and think the game that I had never been exposed to before. The teaching I received helped me to become a better teammate and leader—both on and off the court.

Justin Conway | Former Princeton University team captain

“4x PGC Grad, Josh Dilling, saw immediate improvements in his game after attending PGC but his biggest takeaway was learning how to set the right goals, both on and off the court. As Josh says, “PGC teaches players how to think life.”

Josh Dilling | Northern Kentucky University

“PGC Taught Me ‘How To Think Life'”
“The gym sessions were always intense and purposeful. We knew why we were doing each drill and we were pushed to do our best. The atmosphere in the gym was amazing. There was a great sense of camaraderie. I learned so much this week and I am so grateful.”

“This has been an amazing experience and I learned so much about myself and how much harder I can push myself. I got so much out of the course and I can’t wait to use these work-outs back at school. I know I’ve made a big stride in my shooting. I came here as a good shooter and I’m leaving her with the knowledge that I can and will be a great shooter. Thank you!”

“I’ve been involved in the great game of basketball for 25 years, and I learned more in the first three hours at PGC than in any ten years that I’ve spent in the game.

Coach Evan Woodward | Richland, Washington

“PGC doesn’t do different things, they just do things differently. And a big part of that was the mental side that I still take with me to this day.”

Evan Wilson | University of Akron

“At First You Think They’re Crazy…Then You Learn”
“All of the gym sessions were game-like and served a definite purpose. It’s awesome how the points of emphasis were reinforced… I’ve been to approximately 50 basketball camps, and you truly have the BEST teaching program in America.

Coach Laura Sellers | Normal, Illinois

“Brooke, a three-time PGC grad, transformed her game and mindset at PGC. Before, mistakes shook her confidence, altering how she played. But Coach Dustin’s lesson on staying unruffled—thinking like a goldfish with a short memory—changed everything. She learned to stay composed, bounce back fast, and not let one bad play determine the rest of her performance. Now, whether finishing strong off two feet or facing challenges in life, she carries the confidence and intensity of a PGC gym wherever she goes.”

Brooke Busby | Star D1 Recruit

“PGC Taught Me to Have the Memory of a Goldfish So I Can Move on From Mistakes QUICKLY!”
“PGC is a fantastic experience for players and coaches. You will leave this program not only a better basketball player, but a better person. I would love to have an entire team of PGC graduates.

Coach Tom Beach | Forest Park, Indiana (2005 & 2006 State Champions), Anderson University men’s basketball assistant coach

“William used to get very little playing time as one of the younger players on his team because his lack of confidence led him to play timid basketball. He was too worried about what the older kids would think about him and he was afraid to screw up. Luckily, he attended PGC one summer and learned a few little secrets that almost instantly transformed him into a leader and team captain on his varsity team!”

William Meekhoff | Cadillac Heritage Christian

I Used To Be Disappointed In Myself…”

“Point Guard College is an intensive indoctrination into how to play smart, minimize turnovers, and be a good leader. These are great, great teachers of the game.

Coach Rick Allison | Arlington, Texas

“10x PGC Grad, Skylar Smith, was a natural when it came time to pick up the game of basketball but she struggled with the mental side of the game and found it challenging to carry over her performance in practice to game situations. And for the life of her, she couldn’t figure out why. But after attending PGC multiple times, and paying close attention during the classroom and film sessions, her mindset shifted and her confidence skyrocketed. And ultimately, it was her mindset that helped her get the opportunity to play at the next level.”

Skylar Smith | Minot State University

“I Used To Struggle Translating Performance At Practice Into Games”

“PGC really helped me stand out from a communication standpoint. PGC really helped me with that because they taught me how to be an effective communicator. It just helped me become a better leader.”

Hallie Majoros | University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee

“Effective Communication Leads to College Dreams”
“PGC is basketball in its purest state: players who are eager to learn, coaches who are enthusiastic about teaching, and an atmosphere filled with positive energy. This is an experience that the players will take with them and apply to all aspects of their lives.

Coach Jimmy Johnson | Eddyville, Kentucky

“6x PGC Grad, Tanyr, like so many other players her age, used to really really lack confidence in herself, especially in games. She’d put in the hard work at practice and get in extra reps on her own… but when it came to crunch time in games, she’d freeze up and get really, really nervous. But after attending PGC, she came out of her shell as both a person and a player, and the rest as they say, is history…”

Tanyr Sornson | Hastings College

“I Used To “Freeze Up” In Games…”

“PGC exceeded my expectations, which were high to begin with. The coach was a superb presenter of the materials. The material was top-notch. My notes will be a resource for years to come. Thank you for this great ‘college’.

Coach David Dong | San Mateo, California

“Back in high school, Sean was a decent player but he never played a significant role on his team because he was so short… But Once Sean attended PGC and learned how to ‘think the game’, his decision-making sped up, while the game itself began to slow down. And for the first time in his life, he felt in control with the ball in his hand. Sean went on to become the most decorated point guard of all time at Lake Forest College.”

Sean Espinosa | Lake Forest College

“From Wanting To Just “Get Out of the Way” To Being THE GUY Who Makes The Big Plays!'”
“The level of intensity and effort that is demanded at all times gives you a glimpse of greatness and allows you to understand what is necessary to achieve it.

Megan Murphy | Clinton Corners, New York

“Growing up in Hawaii and being the top ranked player in the state, Kam was looking for an experience that could give him the mental edge in college. And boy did he ever find that at PGC… At camp, Kam was fully immersed in a college-like camp experience where he discovered how to be a leader on and off the court, and use his leadership voice to impact others. As sort of a shy guy who was used to keeping to himself, Kam was uncomfortable at first, but quickly learned that effective communication is a must-have habit if you want to play at the next level! “

Kameron NG | Gatorade Player of the Year

“PGC Got Me Mentally Prepared to Play in College”
“I wanted to drop you a note and tell you how impressed I was with every aspect of the program. From your leadership to your instructors, I believe you have made a positive impact both on my son as well as me. I will admit to coming to PGC as a coach and thinking I wouldn’t learn much. I have been to a lot of “camps” in my time and thought this would primarily be good for my son. There are not many times that I think I got more than I paid for, but as far as I am concerned you couldn’t charge enough for the experience we both had. I believe it will change my son’s life as well as my own. I am going to use SCHAPE with all of my teams and we have instituted its principals in my own home!”

Sean O’Neil, Hudson | Hudson, New Hampshire

Any player who wants to have a serious chance to play college basketball—especially at the 'D1' level—needs to attend PGC. Going to PGC is the smartest move you can ever make.

“Our daughter, Susan, attended Playmaker College this past summer. You helped her to rediscover her passion for the game that she loves so much. Her approach to life, school, and basketball has all been altered in a positive way.”

Jill & Bryan Bossler | Reading, Pennsylvania

“Zach went to a tiny, tiny school of just 250 kids where really the only fans in the stands were basically your Moms. He knew he had to do something to get the energy level of his teammates up and that’s what he discovered when he attended his first PGC camp with his Dad. A few years later Zach received multiple offers to play in college and he credits that to the leadership skills he learned at camp.”

Zach Mcguirt | Wilmington College

“Just 1 Week at Camp Made Me College Ready”

Greg Tudor | West Lafayette, Indiana

“My son has been a different kid since this basketball camp. Now he thinks talks and acts like a leader. He’s playing with passion, fire, and energy. Honestly, I can’t believe it is my son. Scoring College taught him how to play the right way.”

“The classroom sessions changed my game more than anything else. I particularly loved the Unruffleability and the Extra Ounce lectures.”

“Nanik was never the quickest guy on the floor. He was a smaller, under-sized guard you could say. And he knew he needed to find other ways to stand out and have an impact on his team. That’s exactly what he discovered at PGC. Not only did he find a family at PGC, but he met all kinds of people who helped mold him into the leader he is today.”

Nanik Tagore | Dominican University

“PGC Taught Me Basketball Is About So Much More Than Just Scoring Points”

“Before PGC, Claire never really realized how important it was to show up every day, even when she didn’t want to. Basketball was just a game to her before attending PGC but now it is so much more than just that. Learning to focus on the little things and be precise in everything she does has played a role in helping Claire play at the next level. As Claire said, if you come to PGC “you’re going to see big shifts in your game!””

Claire McDougall | Bradley University

“Now my approach towards everything—my training, games, relationships, teammates, school and my life—has made a 180-degree turnaround. I am so thankful that I could attend PGC.”

Meredith Pruden | Wilson, North Carolina

“Conor took what he learned at his PGC camp about building culture and brought it back to his own players at McKay High School to transform his program. His players are now doing all of the “little things” that can have the biggest impact on and off the court. He’s more inspired than ever to continue the PGC mission of changing lives!.”

Conor Mullany | Head Coach McKay High School

“PGC Culture Changes Lives”
“I have gone to many different basketball camps, and there is absolutely no camp that can even hold a candle to PGC. I have never met anybody in my life that I respect more than you, Coach D. You know exactly what you are talking about, and you are the smartest person I know when it comes to basketball.”

Michael Gould | Newton, Massachusetts (two-time grad)

“Lynndsey thought she knew everything about basketball… until she attended her first PGC camp. Basketball was awesome, dorms not so much
Dorms weren’t great but the basketball was awesome
Coach Taj Was Everything I Read the PGC Organization Was About
We were super excited to attend PGP as an athlete and me as an observing coach. I watched Aubrey struggle at first and to see her push through and work hard and keep her joy while getting the footwork, principles, and new skills she learned. We loved our first PGC experience with Marke Freeman at Shooting College last fall. This camp with Coach Taj and his supporting coaches exceeded our expectations. We left even more excited than when we were headed to PGP. Aubrey's confidence grew, she was setting goals for the next day of camp, and studying each night. She loved the classroom sessions as much as the court time. How can you not when you have such a wonderful leader in Coach Taj. He was everything that I read the PGC organization was about. I am so grateful I discoverd PGC for Aubrey and I. I am confident it is the missing factor to helping Aubrey get to where she wants to be and can be on and off the court. THANK YOU!
Eat, Sleep and Breathe Basketball All Day
PGC is the only camp I know that’s dedicated to basketball from the time the player wakes up until they go to sleep. I love the classroom sessions and note taking. It really is a 1 week school for basketball! I was very happy of how my daughter was “pushed” and challenged mentally and physically by the instructors and director. When she came home she said “my legs have never been that sore in my life”! One of the instructors was very demanding that Emma play defense with intensity. As a result she looks like a different player defensively at her school summer league!
Paige is Still Reviewing her Notes!
Paige was extremely impressed with the whole camp. She took so much away from the classroom aspect of your camp. She was already typing her notes into her computer last night to refresh herself with everything she learned. She loved the court action as well and overall came away feeling like a much more complete basketball player. Thanks for everything. She is so excited about the camp that she already wants me to sign her up for your Playmaker camp next year and also PGC camp again.
Loved the Drills that Taught IQ
Motivated and gave me ideas of how to teach, coach, encourage, edify, and stay true to my original vision and mission as a coach. Also gave me ideas of how to incorporate competitiveness, camaraderie, and collaboration simultaneously. I loved the drills that taught IQ as much as other skills. They fit perfectly into the offense I plan to implement. I could teach these drills alone without telling my team what offense they’re running and they’d be fine.
Beyond What We Thought It Would Be
The PGC experience exceed all our expectations. We knew it was going to be good, but after my son attended it was beyond what he thought it was going to be. The leadership, direction in playing the game of basketball, teaching the ability to be an amazing athlete on and off the court, mental toughness, confidence, working hard, problem solving and the way the directors and coaches executed there ability to teach all of that was absolutely incredible.
there Are Not Enough Words To Describe the Incredible Experience I'Ve Had At PGC Playmaker College
there are not enough words to describe the incredible experience I've had at PGC Playmaker College. the course itself was set up wonderfully and was full of pertinent information. I know the athletes had to have learned so much because I did as a coach. Specifically, I took away how to bring a spirited culture to a gym and a classroom. I also learned how to structure a practice and have gained many coaching points to bring to my athletes.
Only Positive Comments
Shamus wasn't sure what to think before starting this camp, but he came back with all kinds of positive comments about it. He really enjoyed all of the coaches and employees of the camp and how positive and friendly they were. And he really enjoyed learning life lessons as well as gaining basketball knowledge. And I really appreciate the fact that we got scholarship money so it made it possible for Shamus to attend this camp.
Leadership Content Was Outstanding And Can Be Applied In All Aspects Of Life
This experience allowed me to see different ways of implementing key concepts and skills that players at all levels can use to better their game. Quick mental queues that will allow players to refocus and do what they were taught. the leadership content was outstanding and can be applied in all aspects of life, not just basketball. I will be applying these concepts and manipulating them to fit my professional career.
This Course Has Helped Me Break Down Important Teaching Points
Oh my gosh, I don't know where to begin. I feel it is a big part of my job to mentor and support my players. This course has helped me break down important teaching points both for teaching the game, but more importantly mentoring my players with their life skills. I am so excited to get back in the gym and implement these concepts with my team. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will be back.
Preparing for Mistakes Before the Moment...
Our son came home having learned so much. While he was exhausted (in a good way he could not wait to tell us all about it. I asked him what he felt was his biggest take away from the week. He responded that one would be preparing for the moment and mistakes ahead of time so that when the "moment" or adversity comes you have already rehearsed how you will respond.
This Camp Really Showed Me I Can Be Great
This camp really showed me a lot and what I can do with my skill as of right now and I've lacked confidence but this camp really showed me that I can be great and make it somewhere and that I'm a point guard so I don't need to be afraid to score or lack confidence and they taught me a-lot of new skills in basketball and outside of basketball that I can use
This Experience Was Incredible
This experience was incredible. the energy, curriculum, and staff was all the best it could possibly be. Everything was extremely organized, thoroughly thought out, and executed well. Everyone was a leader by the end of the camp, and it's truly remarkable how an encouraging environment can result in such a change in players, in such a short amount of time.
Great to Hear and See Things From Different Voices
Exceeded Expectations in Every Way! From understanding the game, and how to increase her effectiveness in the offensive end--and a lot of small things that change everything--peeking, beating the double team, etc.--to attitude and character. Things we talk about all the time, but she needs to see demonstrated and hear from different voices.
My Life Will be Changed Forever
Overall my experience at this camp was fantastic. I am very excited about imputing all the new things I learned into my life and into basketball. And I cant stress enough the impact that the non basketball classroom sessions had on my life. From talking about nutrition to finance to leadership, my life will be forever changed.
My Son is Confident, Excited, Energized and Goal Oriented
My son came home more confident, excited, energized and goal oriented than I have ever seen him. Today he is playing in a tournament and on the Court he is the best I’ve seen him play. He is confident, making great shots, passes and his defense is outstanding. Most of all, he is so HAPPY! Thank you PGC!
Re-Energized Mentally & Emotionally As A Coach
I was re-energized mentally and emotionally as a coach. I also learned some great individual skills for my athletes. I also learned some better communication skills in dealing with athletes. PGC helped me realize honesty and clarity is best for athletes even if it is a difficult truth for them to hear.
So Tired
I was tired and sore but i learned a lot and it was worth it.
He Had Fun While Learning!
This was my sons first time attending. Number one he had fun which is key to continuing a sport - you have to love it and that usually means it has to be fun. He felt it was competitive which is something other camps have lacked. He learned a lot in the classroom and was excited to show me his notes.
I was blown away
I read the reviews online and they were all positive so I came in with very high expectations. With that being said, I was blown away. I feel like a different person as well as a coach. Its like I had tunnel vision coaching views that all of a sudden were opened. Unbelievable
Her Knowledge of the Game is Growing
Our daughter has attended the Playmaker camp, online camp, and now the Scoring and Shooting camp…all have been a wonderful experience and has increased her knowledge of the game as well as improved her skills/game, and shown her how to be a leader on and off the court.
The Perfect "I Do, We Do, You Do" Approach to Learning
It exceeded mine and my daughters expectations in so many ways! My daughter works by seeing things visually so seeing it on the film, having the coaches show her and then having her do it is the perfect "I do, we do, you do" approach that she needs to learn effectively.
I Wanted to Quit Basketball But Not Anymore...
I went into PGC expecting to stop playing basketball after my freshman year (I’m going into 9th this year but I came out enjoying the game so much more and with a much clearer understanding. I can’t wait to apply everything I learned to games and practice at home.
Gave Us Tools To Take Back To Our Athletes
This course gave us a lot of tools to take back to our athletes both on the court and in life in general to help them be more successful in their next step. I will use a lot of the terminology in my gym and the precision of debriefing, celebrating athletes.
Gave Me Reassurance, Confidence And Tips On Becoming A Better Shooting Coach
This experience gave me reassurance, confidence and tips on becoming a better shooting coach. I loved the rationale and data to support the curriculum. I loved the shooting tests at the end to create a competitive environment after the training.
Jaxson Wood
This week has been a blast and totally changed the way I play basketball! I enjoyed learning the stride stop, arrums, and other moves that I am excited to use in games. The classroom sessions also changed the way I look at everything in my life.
I'm going to make my teammates better.
Coaches and staff were always there and in a way you could always rely as well as learning so much! I feel as if when I go back to my high school Im am going to be able to bring my teammates and I to the next level and be the coach on the floor
Gave Me More Advanced Drills
Gave me more advanced drills for my more skilled players and gave me good on-site on how to create a good culture. I like the moves that where taught. Now to install them into practice and have kids work through the struggle will be big
Brighton Stolzenberg
I really enjoyed this camp a lot. It helped me become a better player and leader. Everything you taught us was really useful. The coaches were so supportive and helpful and now my dream to play D1 college basketball seems possible.
A Booster Shot of Energy
Just one big refresher, and booster shot of energy. I’ve incorporated a lot from PGC, great refresher for things I may have forgotten. Love the peer interaction with staff and OC’s. Always a pleasure to meet some great kids too
Winning is a Habit and PGC Helps Players Acquire it!
Winning is a habit, PGC has a clear, methodical way to help kids acquire these habits. The level of energy, intensity, optimism and overall good vibes from the coaches is something special and has a huge, immediate impact on kids.
Re-wronte All His Notes
Connor LOVED PGC camp. He took notes and then came home and re-wrote all of his notes and read them to us each day and showed us examples. He's only 11 and he learned things that will last him a lifetime, on and off the court!
Very Inisghtful for All of Us
The session was very insightful for me. I had 5 athletes attending the course and they all agreed they would like to come back to PGC for a different curriculum. They learned a lot and they enjoyed the experience.
Haigen Harrison
After Point Guard Prep, I feel differently about basketball. I used to only like basketball but now I LOVE basketball. I feel like I’m one thousand times better. All of the coaches made the experience amazing!
Taking Away Better Ways To Coach
As a coach we don't know it all and can always learn. the course is well thought out and uses progression learning. I've taken away better ways to Coach my progressions and different ways to phrase concepts.
I Improved In Many Areas
I feel I improved in many areas including the areas that I wanted to improve most in. I also improved in areas that didn't really cross my mind before arriving here like better leadership, communication, etc.
Love, Love, Love this Camp!!
The energy, check in and pick up, parent meeting, class material, it was absolutely incredible!! Coach Carter was amazing also Coach Dane was very attentive and detail oriented. I love love love this camp!!
Camp Focused On Building Up the Kids As Humans And Not Just Athletes
the positivity and focus on leadership skills that can be used inside and outside the gym, was great. I really felt like the camp focused on building up the kids as humans and not just athletes.
Gained Confidence. She is More Aggressive & Assertive
My daughter gained confidence, got more aggressive & assertive throughout the course of the week from techniques & just from the PGC culture, which is exactly what I was hoping would happen.
I Have 10 Pages Of Notes, Seriously
I have 10 pages of notes, seriously. Enough said. Loved it. And this comes from someone who has been employed at the NBA and D1 levels. Thank you. If you want/need a testimonial, reach out.
She Knows What It Takes To Be A Better Shooter And How To Improve
She came home with lots to say on how to shoot and great enthusiam toward bettering her shot. She thinks she now knows what it takes to be a better shooter and how to improve her form.
PGC is always a transformational
Game-changing. Well worth the time and resources used to be a part of this. I have found a roadmap to success with PGC and I plan to use it going forward for my players and family.
Food wasn’t great, dorms were ok, basketball was great.
Food wasn’t great, dorms were ok, basketball was great.
The Progression of the Camp Improves Learning!
The amount of content shared and the progressions that they are shared in through film, technique training, guided reps and live is amazing. Great way to teach the game. Thank You
the Benefits Are Unreal For Myself And My Program Going On
the benefits are unreal for myself and my program going on. I learned a lot of great ways to truly teach the game of basketball and life. the classroom is extremely important.
Pages and Pages and Pages of Notes
The pages of notes tell the story. Between my daughter and her two friends, they combined for 86 pages of notes! I love the learning that takes place during a PGC session!
This Camp Impacted Me Tremendously
This camp impacted me tremendously. I highly motivated and excited to bring things back to my hometown. In order to be a good coach, I gotta bring juice to my athletes.
I Recommend PGC To Any Level Of Player Wanting To Be Better
This was a great week that changed me not only as a coach but as an individual. I would recommend PGC to any level of player wanting to be a better player and person.

There was very good instruction about shooting on the move and confidence. We also learned good drills to do at home to help us in games.
Learn How to Be an Energy Raiser
I learned so much and had such a great time.I learned how to be a energy raiser and different tips and skills of how to play basketball.

Overall Great Camp!
The experience overall was great. I had a good time getting to know different people and learning new things on the basketball court.
A Lot Of Great Drills
I learned a lot about breaking things down and how to explain the why effectively. Also I learned a lot of great drills to bring in.
Boring Food
I felt I learned a lot about basketball and how to be a better play on the court and off but I feel the food should of changed more frequently because I felt I was eating the same thing every day.
