We look forward to welcoming players, coaches, and staff to camp this summer!

The health and safety of our entire PGC family remain at the forefront of all our planning efforts and we will implement safety measures based on guidance from health authorities and requirements from host facilities.

While detailed procedures are outlined at the bottom of this page for specific situations, please note these key principles:

  • Face masks are required at check-in and check-out and while walking on campus and in buildings.
  • Participants may be placed in cohorts/teams which will stay together throughout the week, including classroom & gym sessions, and meals.
  • Participants may be housed in single rooms without roommates.
  • Health screening may be conducted at check-in and continue throughout the camp with temperature checks each morning before the first classroom session.
  • Visitors will not be allowed during camp.
  • All participants and staff will practice social distancing when not on court or with cohorts.

We will notify you prior to the camp if there are any changes to our protocols.

Before Arrival
  • All camp participants and staff are asked to do their best to minimize exposure to large groups of people prior to the camp. Best practices include:
  • Avoid unnecessary travel.
  • Practice social distancing.
  • Avoid large crowds.
  • Practice clean hygiene by washing hands regularly.
  • All PGC staff will receive training on COVID safety protocols prior to camp.
Check-in and Check-out
  • Only 1 adult may accompany each participant during check-in and check-out.
  • All participants, parents, and staff will likely need to wear masks during check-in/check-out.
  • Check-in/out will be staggered to minimize the number of people in the check-in area at one time.
Health Screening
  • Health screenings at check-in may include taking each participant’s temperature and reviewing their health status.
  • All participants and staff will be monitored throughout the week for symptoms.
Protocol During Camp
  • Participants may be placed in cohorts/teams which will stay together throughout the week, including classroom sessions, gym sessions, and meals.
  • Participants and staff may be required to wear face masks at all times while walking on campus and in buildings.
  • Depending on state, local or facility requirements, participants may be required to wear face masks during gym sessions.
  • In some locations, participants may be housed in single rooms.
  • Participants and staff will practice clean hygiene by mandatory hand washing/sanitizing after gym sessions and before meals.
  • All participants and staff will practice social distancing when not on court or with cohorts.
  • Visitors will not be allowed during the week.
  • Parents picking up commuters each night will be asked to wait outside and PGC staff will escort the participant to the pick-up area.
Returning Home
  • Participants and staff are encouraged to avoid close contact with those 65 and older for 14 days after camp concludes.
