Jonathan Schneiderman lives in German Valley, Illinois, with his wife and twins, Lucy and Sullivan.
He began working basketball camps and doing lessons for younger kids when he was in junior high. He has always loved working at, teaching, and training the skills and teamwork of this great game of basketball.
Jonathan’s high school teams won multiple conference, regional, and sectional championships at Forreston High School in Illinois, and he had multiple players go on to play college basketball. He also has given lessons and trained thousands of basketball players at all skill levels.
Jonathan currently coaches youth basketball and junior high basketball with the same passion to help kids learn the game, and progress their skills and teams to the next level, all while learning invaluable life lessons as they grow.
As a 6th grader, he set a goal to play Division I basketball and put in countless hours dedicated to the game. Although many schools showed interest throughout his sophomore and junior year seasons, he did not receive any Division I offers until the end of his Senior year. He went on to play Division I basketball at the University of Illinois at Chicago, helping his team to the NCAA tournament and NIT tournament.
Have fun doing whatever it is that you desire to accomplish. Learn it one step at a time, emphasizing the fundamentals, and do it because you love it, not because it’s work.
