WEEK TWENTY-seven: one of the biggest mistakes i made as a young coach

This week, I discuss the importance of you development as a coach, by staying true to yourself. One of the biggest mistakes I made as a young coach was to try and do everything. It is easy to try and copy what won the National Championship that year but remember to stay true to yourself and your team. This week’s Drift Shooting Drill focuses on bailing out the ball handler, if they drive baseline, by drifting the shooter into the sight of the ball handler. Enjoy!

As we’re now into mid-February, many of you are now gearing up for your conference or state tournament, or for some of you, your season may have already ended. Week One: Me time and we time & the Curry Scurry

In this week’s video we discuss the importance of “me time” and “we time” as you enter the final stages of the offseason. It’s important to go into the first week of practice with a full tank! You’ll also see the Curry Scurry drill. It’s a great drill to help offensive players work on playing without the ball, getting open off of various screens, and always being shot ready.
