    BASKETBALL TIP
To win games, you need to throw passes that people can handle.

If you have a player with exceptional hands, fine; you can fling the ball at them, and they will usually catch it.

But most players, even good ones, have trouble with bullet passes.

Firm, crisp passes are what is needed, not bullets.

In basketball, there is no place for showing off how hard you can hit someone with a pass, and there should be no satisfaction in thinking it was their fault when a ball you passed is mishandled out of bounds.

Throw passes that can be caught, not ones that should have been.

    LEADERSHIP LESSON
4 Important Questions to Continually Ask Yourself:

“How have I been complicit in creating the conditions I say I don’t want?”
“What am I not saying that needs to be said?”
“What am I saying that’s not being heard?”
“What’s being said that I’m not hearing?”

    – Jerry Colonna

    LIFE PRINCIPLE
    “Habits are powerful, but delicate.

They can emerge outside our consciousness, or can be deliberately designed.

They often occur without our permission, but can be reshaped by fiddling with their parts.

They shape our lives far more than we realize—they are so strong, in fact, that they cause our brains to cling to them at the exclusion of all else, including common sense.”

    – Charles Duhigg
