    BASKETBALL TIP
    Leave jockeying to horse racers.

Too many players expend a lot of effort trying to get loose when all they are doing is moving their shoulders and taking one step one way, one step the other way. They think they are working very hard, but they go nowhere.

They would do better to lean one way, and either go hard that way (at least three steps) or go hard the other way.

Get open or get out of the way, but do not stand in a prime receiving position moving your body back and forth a step at a time going nowhere and clogging the area.

    LEADERSHIP LESSON
“As a leader, it is so important that your words equal your actions. It is imperative that you make sure that you go through a self-evaluation process on an almost daily basis to make sure that your actions are in line with your words. You must do what you say and say what you do.”

    – Jon Gordon

    LIFE PRINCIPLE
“Make the best of what you’ve got; play the cards you are dealt. Walt Disney once said, “There is no education like adversity.” However, to gain this education you must be tough enough to overcome adversity rather than allowing adversity to overcome you.”

    – John Wooden
