  • Today’s Monday Mindset: Have Better Relationships

Do you want to be better at relationships?

Start by applying the Magic 5.

The Magic 5 will help you to create a better bond and stronger attachment with others.

The first is eye contact when you see somebody.

Second is make physical contact – handshake, a hug – to convey your affection.

The third is to use their name.

Fourth is to use an uptone as you speak…

…and the fifth is to smile.

You do those things with anyone you come in contact with, and you’ll create a stronger attachment and bond.

And if you want a bonus one, ask them a question.

Every morning I start the day by just asking my kids with a smile, with physical touch, with their name, with an uptone, “How did you sleep, Isaac?” “Anna, how are you feeling today?” “Zachary, what are you looking forward to today?”

When you do those things, you’ll create a stronger bond with those around you.

Put that into practice. Apply the Magic 5.

That’s my challenge and that’s your Monday Mindset.
