July 28 | The 3-Point Play
If you can’t shoot in today’s game, you’re robbing yourself of the opportunity.
But if do learn to shoot, you’ll…
- score more points,
- be looked to as a leader,
- get to the rim more easily and
- spread the floor because you’re a greater threat.
Can a basketball team (or a company) have more than one leader?
You bet it can.
“To be champions, every player (or employee) must be a leader — not a dictator. But an example – setting, encouraging, instructing, involved team player.”
– PGC Founder, Dick DeVenzio
“The challenge for anyone interested in making progress is to simultaneously have…
- the confidence to go after what you want
- the humility to accept who you are right now and
- the willingness to build skills that bridge the gap between 1 and 2.”
– James Clear
Welcome to the 3-Point Play, where you’ll get a quick dose of wisdom to enhance your game and life.
Whether you’re a player, parent, or coach, join to get a:
- basketball tip
- leadership lesson,
- and life principle

3-Point Play: On exit cuts, candles, and a big secret
“A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle.” – Unknown
3-Point Play: On “your thing,” tripping over truth, and brick walls
Because like you, coaches want to win and they play players they trust to help them do just that.
PGC Basketball provides intense, no-nonsense basketball training for players and coaches. Our basketball camps are designed to teach players of all positions to play smart basketball, be coaches on the court, and be leaders in practices, games and in everyday life.
We combine our unique PGC culture with a variety of teaching methods and learning environments to maximize the learning potential of those that attend our sessions. In addition to spending 6-7 hours on the court each day, lessons will be reinforced through classroom sessions and video analysis.
Our goal at PGC is to empower you with the tools to fulfill your basketball dreams, while also assisting you in experiencing the joy of the journey.
