On Playing Like a Rabbit, Becoming a Leader, and Feeling Alive
Oct. 13 | The 3-Point Play
BASKETBALL TIP
Most players play at one speed, all the time. That’s a mistake.
Competent players know when to shift gears and change speeds.
If you play like a cheetah (fast all the time), you’re easy to guard.
Why? Because you’re predictable.
But if you play like a rabbit (fast, then slow, then fast), defenders will struggle to guard you.
Always keep the defender guessing.
Play like a rabbit.
LEADERSHIP LESSON
“Becoming a leader is synonymous with becoming yourself. It is precisely that simple and it is also that difficult.”
– Warren Bennis
LIFE PRINCIPLE
“Scared people want comfort and certainty so they avoid failure. People living fully seek challenges because this is where they feel alive.”
― Maxime Lagacé
