Today’s Monday Mindset: Embrace Your Doubts
Over the past year, I’ve been working on a project that I’m so excited about.
I think it has the potential to be big, maybe even huge…
…But it could also fizzle out and not turn into anything.
What I’ve had to do is embrace my doubts.
Whether you’re trying out for a team, applying to a college, hoping to get a job or a promotion or, like me, starting a new initiative, you have to overcome the doubts that you have.
And sure, I’ve had doubts. I’ve wondered, “Is this going to work? Can I actually do this? Am I smart enough? Do I know enough? Am I going to be able to figure this out?”
I’ve had to just accept that I have doubts and fears.
It’s human nature.
Whatever it is that you want to achieve, embrace your doubts, and then just push beyond them.
Anytime I have those doubts, I think, “Okay, what can I do? I can figure this out.”
Everything is figure-out-able, and I’m on my way to figuring it out.
You can too. Just go for it.
Embrace your doubts.
That’s my challenge. And that’s your Monday Mindset.
