Today’s Monday Mindset: More Than You Think
I’ve never thought of myself as a runner, and certainly not a long distance runner, which is why I decided to challenge myself and do this 15k (nine-mile) Tough Mudder with 30 challenges in between.
And it turned out awesome, I loved it!
But so often we have limiting beliefs, things that we limit ourselves with when we can do far more than we think.
We hear people say it all the time: I don’t have a good memory. I have a terrible memory. I’m not a morning person. I’m not organized. I hate mushrooms.
Those are all just self-programming things that we’re telling ourselves about ourselves.
And my challenge to you is to become aware of what are the limiting beliefs that you’re imposing on yourself, that you actually don’t have to.
I didn’t think I could run a 15k (nine-mile) race today and was able to do it, and… I grew because of it.
I’m better because of it, and I’ve squashed that limiting belief because of it.
So my challenge is: become aware of those limiting beliefs and just decide to change them.
You don’t have to live within the programming that you’ve had for yourself. So putting that into practice, you can do more than you think.
That’s my challenge and that’s your Monday Mindset.
