Star In Your Role

Today’s Monday Mindset: Star In Your Role
I speak with a lot of players who feel like they’re being unfairly treated by their coach or parents who feel like their kids are being treated unfairly because they’re not getting opportunities they think they’re deserving of, or their kids are deserving of.
It even applies to work.
Those who think they’re not getting promotional opportunities.
Even in families where kids think they’re not being treated fairly by their parents or others.
Here’s the simple challenge, and that is star in your role.
Don’t focus on what’s not happening.
Focus on being the best you can be today.
Be where your feet are which simply means be present in doing the best you can to star in your role, to be the best player, the best worker, the best family member you can possibly be.
There’s nothing better you can do than put your focus there.
It’ll help alleviate the feelings of unfairness, the feelings of frustration if you simply focus on starring in your role.
So that’s my challenge and that’s your Monday Mindset.
