Talk to Yourself

Today’s Monday Mindset: Talk to Yourself
Do you want to be a more positive person towards yourself and others and your life?
Here’s how to do it
Crowd out negative thoughts. Negative thoughts are going to come and go heavily influenced by our parents, teachers, and coaches, and those that spoken to our lives, especially at an early age.
But what you have to do is talk to yourself, not listen to yourself, because if you just listen to those negative thoughts, “Oh, I can’t do this. Oh, I suck.”
Well, that’s going to depress you and discourage you and you’re not going to live an abundant life.
But when you talk to yourself, and the way I learned to do that was actually reading my favourite inspirational quotes and scripture verses that I read to myself through my teenagers and 20s until those became programmed in my mind and became the habit of how I thought about myself and my world around me.
So talk to yourself, don’t listen to yourself, crowd out those negative thoughts, put that into practice and you’ll change your world, how you think, and ultimately your life.
That’s my challenge and that’s your Monday Mindset.
