Tips for Off Season Basketball Transformation
BASKETBALL TIP
There has to be a constant effort, a constant competition with yourself to improve not just your skills but also your ability to work enthusiastically at improving your skills.
Obviously, the more energy and enthusiasm you can put into your daily efforts, the more productive your efforts will be. Therefore, if you are truly striving for success, you can’t afford to just gut through the drudgery. Sure, that sounds noble. Congratulations for your toughness. But to use your time more productively, to improve at a faster rate, you need to try to transform your experience.
LEADERSHIP LESSON
“Five key strategies that help facilitate a productive dialogue:
- Be curious
- Check your bias
- Show respect
- Stay the course
- End well.”
– Celeste Headlee
LIFE PRINCIPLE
“Whenever you feel ‘short’ or in ‘need’ of something, give what you want first and it will come back in buckets. That is true for money, a smile, love, friendship. I know it is often the last thing a person may want to do, but it has always worked for me. I just trust that the principle of reciprocity is true, and I give what I want.”
– Robert T. Kiyosaki
