On Peeking, Communication, and Taking Action
Mar. 24 | The 3-Point Play
BASKETBALL TIP
Most players catch the ball and dribble immediately (with their head down).
They’re missing opportunities.
Instead…
When the ball hits your hands, peek at the rim.
This helps:
- create vision
- assess space and
- identify scoring opportunities.
It only takes a split second to look special.
LEADERSHIP LESSON
Three ingredients to better communication.
- Use names
- Make eye contact and
- Offer relevant information.
Do this consistently and the people in your life will (more likely) listen to what you have to say.
LIFE PRINCIPLE
There are people less qualified than you, doing things you want to do, simply because they decided to take action.
