    BASKETBALL TIP
    Unnecessary dribbles hurt the team.

They give opponents extra chances to steal the ball or get into the defensive position they want.

And this lack of purposeful activity encourages the offense to stand around instead of developing precision cuts and perfectly timed passes.

Your teammates cannot get a feel for when to cut if you are in the habit of taking needless dribbles when you have the ball.

    LEADERSHIP LESSON
“One challenge is that our ability to progress in our career is often determined by our effectiveness in responding to near-term needs.

When high value is placed on solving these kinds of problems, it creates a culture in which leaders spend little or no time thinking about what could be done because they receive more accolades for simply doing what needs to be done.”

    – Tom Rath

    LIFE PRINCIPLE
“The edge is in the inputs.

The person who consumes from better sources, gets better thoughts. The person who asks better questions, gets better answers. The person who builds better habits, gets better results.

It’s not the outcomes. It’s the inputs.”

    – James Clear
