    BASKETBALL TIP
Whether you are a point guard dribbling and looking for an open man, or a forward wanting to drive in for a layup, the important thing that you must do is MOVE the defender who is guarding you.

It is not enough to merely keep the ball from them. Nor is it adequate to hope to fake them out by using a move you’ve practiced on a playground. Your purpose, very definite, is to MOVE them. Make them go places. Make them do things. Make them move to guard you.

    LEADERSHIP LESSON
“Influence always outpaces authority. And leaders who consistently leverage their authority to lead are far less effective in the long term than leaders who leverage their influence. Practice leading through influence when you’re not in charge. It’s the key to
    leading well when you are.”

    – Clay Scroggins

    LIFE PRINCIPLE
“No matter how significant or life-changing your greatest hit or miss might be, neither even begins to define who you are. Each of us is a product of all our experiences and all our interactions with other people. To cite calculus, we are the area under the curve.”

    – Colin Powell
