    BASKETBALL TIP
It’s very easy to slow down a shot in a game when you have the time to do that, but almost any shot sped up to get it off misses.

Spend more time working on getting yourself a quicker release.

Most players take more time to shoot in practice than they will get in a game. Now, it’s fine to practice shooting slowly, concentrating on correct form, so that you get confidence that you can shoot well. However, some of your practice must overdo it so that the shots you get in a game seem easier, not harder, than the ones you get in practice.

    LEADERSHIP LESSON
“Strong leaders develop others by making it safe for them to move out of their comfort zone and into their growth zone. Weak leaders throw people in the deep end to see if they sink or swim.”

    – Michael Timms

    LIFE PRINCIPLE
“The greatest thing a person does is take the lessons of life, the hard knocks of life, the surprises of life, and the mundane realities of life and refine their own consciousness so that they can gradually come to see the world with more understanding, more wisdom, more humanity, and more grace.”

    – David Brooks

Players often fail to realize that fouls are errors. Not just because five of them will put you on the bench, but because they allow mediocre players to score points on uncontested 15-foot shots.
