    BASKETBALL TIP
The following 5 rules are useful against any kind of zone: full-court press, half-court trap or match-up.

    1. “Lead” passes get the zone off-balance and make the defenders tentative.
    2. Engage two players before passing the ball, thus always passing to a 4-on-3 advantage.
    3. Form triangles with the two nearest defenders.
    4. Two plus two: the four players that do not have the ball must actively seek the ball and not stand and watch.
    5. All five players should try to stay in scoring position so they remain dangerous and must be guarded by the zone.

    LEADERSHIP LESSON
“Leading with mindfulness is ideally facilitative in nature rather than prescriptive. Your leadership uses awareness as its compass. A compass never tells you anything about the destination. All that it does is to show you the direction. But a compass is of no use without a destination.”

    – Kathirasan K

    LIFE PRINCIPLE
“Successful people do what unsuccessful people are not willing to do; they put the slight edge to work for them, rather than against them, every day. They refuse to let themselves be swayed by their feelings, moods, or attitudes; they rule their lives by their philosophies and do what it takes to get the job done, whether they feel like it or not.”

    – Jeff Olsen
