    BASKETBALL TIP
Despite players’ thinking that zone defenses are for resting, all zones require a player to be ready to move quickly in two opposite directions.

For that reason, even though you may have to move less while playing a zone, you should get more tired because, if you play it correctly, you must always be ready to move.

You must always be between two positions or two players, both of which you want to be able to get to, either before the ball or at the same time.

    LEADERSHIP LESSON
“I’ve realized that another person’s greatness takes nothing from my own. And that the bravest thing you can do is support people and celebrate their success with as much excitement as it deserves.”

    – Jamie Varon

    LIFE PRINCIPLE
“Those who overcome the temptations of mediocrity and achieve everything they want in life have an extraordinarily compelling why that drives them. They have defined a clear life purpose that is more powerful than the collective sum of their petty problems and the countless obstacles they will inevitably face, and they wake up each day and work towards their purpose.”

    – Hal Elrod
