Today’s Monday Mindset: Design Your Life
Welcome to your Monday Mindset, where you discover how to be your best so you can give your best.
One of the mistakes so many of us make is we simply accept our lives. And while, sure, it’s important to accept who you are and where you’re at in any stage in your journey, it doesn’t mean you can’t and shouldn’t want more for yourself or for your life tomorrow.
The challenge is, most of us spend our days just accepting our life instead of designing our life, designing who we want to be, designing what we want to experience, and how we want to feel in the days, months, and years ahead.
So I have a simple challenge for you, to put pen to paper and to design your life one year from now.
Who do you want to be one year from now?
How do you want to grow? What do you want to learn?
How do you want to be different one year from now?
What do you want your life to look like five to 10 years from now?
Most people never think about how they want life to be. Even if they do think about it, they don’t take steps to actually get there.
The first and most important piece to know is you can design your life. You don’t just have to accept your life. Your conditions and your circumstances can change. You might not be able to change every condition and circumstance, but you can change more than you think.
And more significantly, you can change who you are. And when you change who you are, you’ll ultimately change what you achieve and what you experience.
So don’t just accept your life, design your life.
Put pen to paper today.
