PGC Announces 2026 Summer Basketball Camp Schedule & Locations
If you would like your child to discover the uncommon skills, habits, daily mindset and leadership principles that can lead to championship performance on and off the court, you might be excited to hear that PGC Basketball just released their 2026 summer basketball camp schedule.
Founded in the early 90’s by Duke All-American point guard and basketball genius, Dick DeVenzio, Point Guard College (PGC) is an intense, no-nonsense camp for serious, dedicated players only.
Every summer, over 20,000 middle school and high school players across North America are lucky enough to attend a PGC basketball camp to increase their basketball IQ and learn valuable life lessons that can make all the difference later in life.
This lucky group of dedicated players will spend an intense, no-nonsense week learning how to separate themselves from every other player by learning how to THINK THE GAME and thus becoming the smartest player on the floor.
They’ll discover how to think about the game in ways most players never even know exists, so they can gain the unfair advantage of being one step ahead (or more) of their competition.
They’ll focus on game-changing skills like:
- (1) Basketball IQ: Learning how to incorporate the “little things” and contribute to your team in ways that give coaches no choice but to pay more attention to you.
- (2) Gaining a Confident Mindset: Learning how to overcome setbacks, losing, injuries, being benched, unfair treatment, and all the things that rob players of their confidence and joy for the game.
- (3) Becoming a Leader: Learning how to inspire teammates, foster a sense of urgency and get others to work together at a high-performance level.
- (4) Playmaking: Learning how to read the defense and make better decisions with the ball.

And they’ll do it following an evidence backed multi-sensory learning method used by the world’s most elite militaries and law enforcement officers.
It’s called Hear It. See It. Do It.
Ad here’s how it works:
Hear It
Players at a PGC camp hearing (auditory learning) the high basketball IQ skill or concept being explained in the classroom by a world-class instructor.
See It
PGC athletes watching (visual demonstration) the skill being performed correctly on film, observing the technique, noting the precision, sequence and best practices.
Do It
PGC athletes physically execute the skill themselves (hands-on practice) on court with many repetitions, often involving guided practice and immediate feedback from instructors, transforming observation into competence and developing muscle memory.
Players then repeat the hear it, see it, do it steps multiple times each day of camp, often in high-pressure conditions, until the new skills stick in their brain like glue.
“I’m so grateful to everyone on our team for their hard work day and night over the past few months so we can offer over 205 PGC basketball camps across North America this summer,” says Mano Watsa, President and Owner of PGC.
“Our camp directors and basket instructors can’t wait to be back on the court and in the classroom with all our new players and returning PGC Grads. And, as is usually the case, we anticipate camps will sell out quickly as we’ve experienced a record-breaking turnout out our camps each of the past 3 years.”
Players in the 4th-7th grade have the option to attend a Point Guard Prep day basketball camp, while players from 7th grade to the collegiate level can attend one of the PGC overnight basketball camps.
The teaching curriculum has been specifically designed to progress from one course to the next:
1.Playmaker College → 2. Scoring College → 3. Point Guard College
2026 camp registration opens January 26th at 9 am EST with limited spots available for each session.

As PGC Basketball enters its 34th year of operation, we remain committed to teaching players how to think the game at a high level, how to become a leader on and off the basketball court, and how to use the skills they learn at camp to propel themselves forward to succeed in life.
