Today’s Monday Mindset: Stop Judging Yourself
Do you ever lack self-confidence?
I found nothing has crushed my own self-confidence, like my own self-judgment.
Here are three ways to know if you’ve been judging yourself instead of accepting yourself:
1. If you put yourself down. Your words matter. The things you say and the things you think about yourself to yourself will impact how you feel about yourself.
So start to pay attention or pay more attention to the things you think and say and change them. So you treat yourself like your own best friend with respect and dignity.
2. If you get frustrated with yourself or angry, then chances are you’re judging yourself for what hasn’t happened or what hasn’t gone right.
And if you do that, you just need to change and create this shift where you say, I’m not who I was.
I’m not who I’m going to be, but right now where I am, I’m good and getting better. I’m learning each day. That’ll help you to be able to accept yourself.
3. If you’re impressed or intimidated by others, then you’re judging who you’re not or where you’re not in life. We’re all on our own journey. Accept yourself and you won’t be overly impressed or overly intimidated by others.
Put those three things into practice.
Judge yourself less. Accept yourself more!
That’s my challenge and that’s your Monday Mindset.
