Today’s Monday Mindset: Take a Stand
Presented by: Mano Watsa, President of PGC Basketball Camps
I’m standing here at one of the most famous places in all of Greece, the Acropolis.
I’m standing on this rock known as Mars Hill. The Apostle Paul in the New Testament came here and gave a speech — despite what everybody else thought around him, he was willing to stand for his convictions, his beliefs, and regardless of what it was gonna cost him.
And I was inspired as I was hearing what took place right here on Mars Hill Rock. It got me thinking about what do I need to be more courageous in? What do I need to be willing to take a stand for?
It could be something you believe in or taking a stand for somebody else who needs a helping hand.
So my challenge to you today is to let your beliefs lead to conviction.
Conviction is taking action on what you believe and being willing to be courageous.
Even if it’s not popular, if you know it’s true, if you know it’s right, if it’s, if you know it’s good, be willing to take a stand.
That’s my challenge for you, and that’s today’s Monday Mindset.
