You Are Enough

Today’s Monday Mindset: You Are Enough
I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but I know somebody does and maybe it’s you. You are enough.
You are enough, and because you’re enough, you don’t need to people please and try and please others. Stop trying to impress others. Stop trying to accomplish more things in order to feel like a somebody. You already are a somebody.
And I believe from the faith perspective that I have that God made each of us unique and special and we’re already somebody’s. We need to treat other people like they’re unique and special and somebody’s too, but you don’t need to try and impress others.
We see on social media, everybody putting out their image or their best image of themselves to try and look like, seem like, appear like a somebody.
I tried to do that in my basketball career to impress others. And then I realized I don’t need to actually try and impress others.
I am enough. You are enough as well. And when you accept that and embrace that, you’ll stop trying and you’ll have greater peace. So put that into practice. You are enough.
That’s my challenge, and that’s your Monday Mindset.
