    BASKETBALL TIP
    Run through the ball.

Against a press or pressure, and anytime you are not wide open, you should receive a pass by running through the ball.

Don’t wait for the ball to come to you. Go and get the ball. Tackle it if necessary.

Many passes are intercepted because the receivers wait for the ball. Get in the habit of going to the ball with your body, not just leaning or reaching toward the ball with your arms.

    LEADERSHIP LESSON
“Leadership is not so much about technique and methods as it is about opening the heart.

Leadership is about inspiration—of oneself and of others. Great leadership is about human experiences, not processes.

Leadership is not a formula or a program, it is a human activity that comes from the heart and considers the hearts of others.

It is an attitude, not a routine.”

    – Lance Secretan

    LIFE PRINCIPLE
“You are not made in a crisis; you are revealed. When you squeeze an orange, you get orange juice; when you squeeze a lemon, you get lemon juice; when a human being gets squeezed, you get what’s inside — positive or negative.”

    – Jack Kinder
