On impactful energy, inspirational leadership, and staying discipline
September 26 | The 3-Point Play
BASKETBALL TIP
There is synergy in the collective use of rhythm—you get back more energy than you give out.
When a group of athletes claps in rhythm, the impact is energizing, the atmosphere becomes charged, and the whole experience can change
Remember – a quiet gym is a losing gym.
LEADERSHIP LESSON
“Achieve excellence, don’t just avoid errors.
Build trust and take care of your people.
Use your legacy for inspiration.
Use guiding principles for decision criteria.
Use immediate recognition to reinforce desired behaviors.
Begin with the end in mind.
Encourage a questioning attitude over blind obedience”
– L. David Marquet
LIFE PRINCIPLE
“Discipline is the antidote to excuses. Discipline is just a decision made over and over again. In the face of discipline, excuses don’t matter.”
– John Delony
